The Beacon Hotel

4/09/24: I'm a Londoner and this was my third time of staying at the Beacon- it wasn't planned- but roadworks on the M1 & torrential rain meant I returned- without a booking ! The manager was very welcoming, and I had a mate with me, but I snore, so I managed to get the last two rooms- luckily! This hotel is exceptional: very well located (Morrisons 10 mins, buses 4 mins, train 5 mins!), immaculately clean and quiet, great rooms, and a kitchen where you can make your own food and store in in their fridge! HOW many places offer that! There's a courtyard for smokers, there's VERY welcoming staff, there is a BIG breakfast room and it's a 1- minute walk to the waterfront! Abfab! Peter Gregory

Fantastic location, perfect for a trip to the seaside with kids. We visited last summer and loved it so much we wanted to repeat it this summer too. The car park is very close by and then you’re so close to the beach the kids could walk over in their beach gear, less than 5 mins with small kids. The hotel itself is clean, well appointed and every staff member we encountered was super friendly. Highly recommend.

Warm greating, very clean and comfortable room Great full english breakfast. Unbelievable price for Bank Holiday Weekend. I Will definitely recommend family and friends and use again if im in the area

Enjoyed my stay here last bank holiday weekend, was greeted at the door by a lovely young gentleman who showed me around and gave me the keys, he was very pleasant. The room was lovely and clean excellent location to visit shops and pubs for rhe nightlife. Would recommend to all my friends and family

Bit disappointed with size of double room not much room not even a wardrobe just hanging unit.more like a single room with a double bed in. But all nice clean super walk in shower room looked new.Only really good point is position on the corner junction and full sea view. This was room 26 on the ground floor round the back of the hotel. Apart from guest staying there with dogs and outside entrance door being next to the bedroom wall YOU COULD HEAR EVERY MOVEMENT creaking corridor and dogs barking I have never stayed in such a noisy hotel before. Superb breakfast and friendly helpful staff. I think rather expensive £75 a night for what you get. Sorry I won't be staying again.

The location was just superb! The comfortable rooms are reasonably priced. The staff were informative and helpful whenever we had a question. Our evening was made perfect with a delicious meal. Our stay was amazing and we look forward to experiencing it again. Thank you very much.
