Excessive price for what the hotel offers: €150 per night with breakfast. Dirty room, poor breakfast. After almost three weeks traveling through Malaysia, this is definitely the worst hotel. We've stayed in hotels for €30, €40, and €50 per night that are way cheaper. There are much cheaper hotels nearby. I don't know what they're like, but at least you don't pay that price.

Beautiful resort directly overlooking the beach of Palau Redang Island, typical Asian peninsula structure, not invasive on the landscape, two-story bungalows not luxurious but with: air conditioning, fan and private bathroom, which are cleaned like the rest of the rooms and the change of towels is done every two days. In the central structure in addition to the reception a shop where everything is sold, two bars and an entertainment area; the structure is also equipped with a swimming pool, on the upper floor the restaurant from which you have a beautiful view of the bay below, as regards the buffet restaurant, the cuisine that is offered is divided between local and international food, sometimes well done sometimes a little less well ... also the possibility of dining à la carte. Always part of the resort a Dive Center that offers many excursions that can be booked directly during the day. Negative note is the lack of sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach available to customers which forces the tourist to get up very early if he wants to secure some of the few places sought after by many. As for the stretch of sea in front of the resort, I can only say that it is splendid, with a beautiful white beach, not very long but still allows you to take a walk. At the end of your stay I advise you to scrupulously recheck your accounts in all the items reported on the invoice because we (we were three couples) had exchanged many things with everyone...keep the receipts of the extra drinks you will make...or write them down to remember them later...you will avoid arguments.

Stayed at this property in August 2023 It is located on the long beach on the right side of the beach The hotel overlooks the beach. It has few umbrellas and sunbeds that are unable to satisfy the needs of all customers. We were always out and about, so we used them little. Breakfast not particularly rich and essentially Asian. We almost always had dinner in the property, preferring this to other restaurants on the beach (to tell the truth not many). Standard rooms A swimming pool in the center of the property, with sunbeds available. Very beautiful sea and if you go towards the central promontory also full of fish and sharks.

The resort is nice, the rooms are clean and the staff is very polite. The food at the restaunrant is good but the menu is limited, so after few days you are forced to eat the same dishes. Sometimes the beach is dirty and the staff is not keen to clean it up quickly, whish is a shame since the location is amazing. The diving center is great with very professional people like Bob the divemaster.

I stayed 5 nights with my family and we had a pretty good time. Rooms: it is not a classic hotel room, but a very large and spacious apartment, both the double bedroom and the children's room with two single beds in the living room and also the bathroom with double sink. Sufficient cleaning, every two days. Restaurant: normal. Both breakfast and dinner are nothing special, but sufficient. A negative aspect in Redang is that outside the resort there are very few restaurants; luckily, there was one very close by where we always went for lunch and where we ate well, but they do nothing of Malaysian cuisine, but pizza, hamburgers and other tasty dishes. There is another, called Moon restaurant, open only in the evening, you can eat excellent fish, but very expensive so you go there once and that's it. Location: excellent! It overlooks an absolutely spectacular beach with wonderful water. The problem with the umbrellas is: too few, 6/7 in total, for the guests in the resort. Wi-Fi works perfectly. The island is definitely very beautiful for snorkeling and diving. There are only two beaches to visit, the resort beach and turtle beach, beautiful. The Taaras beach is private. All in all, we had a good time especially for the location.

A hovel!!! I couldn't even imagine a worse place. Insects everywhere; they don't even know the meaning of cleanliness....even the presence of bedbugs!!! Unacceptable that a tour operator like Alpitur offers structures of this kind. The photo is ZERO to the structure and to Alpitur.

How to live a nightmare, a dirty and smelly dilapidated hotel, upon my arrival I was given an indecent dirty and smelly room, they don't even know what cleaning is, but the most wow thing is that not even the clean sheets still had the shape and smell of the previous customer, I went to the reception to get an explanation, the girl at the reception followed me into the room showing them the bed, she tried to smooth out the creases with her hand to erase the shape of the customer telling me now go, the room is perfect, I had to wait until the evening with the staff shift change to get a change of sheets, the cleaning, if you can call it that, is done every two days, nothing changes because it hasn't been done for years, then once I got to the beach I realized that it only has 10 sunbeds and 4 umbrellas, all destroyed for all the guests, I think that at least with a capacity of 300 people, this means that you will have to lie down with a mignon towel on the sand under a burning sun with ants crawling on you. I'll let you imagine the breakfast: 4 things in total and of very poor quality too. If you don't want to ruin your holiday I advise you to stay away from this dump. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy. It should absolutely be avoided.

We have just returned from a trip to Asia that ended with 5 days at the Coral Redang. At the reception they immediately informed us that cleaning would be done every 2 days but in reality it was never done. The room was dirty upon arrival, full of cobwebs. Shower stall with limescale stains that had never been cleaned, the window/balcony full of kicks, lots of water on the floor and the third bed... A camp bed... When we asked to change rooms they told us that it was not possible because we had no others available. In the morning there were often millipedes in the room, for this reason we always kept our clothes closed in the suitcase. In the last few days my friend who slept on a camp bed found blisters all over her body and today they confirmed that she was bitten by bed bugs. In my opinion, a structure like this should close and above all it should not be sponsored by a tour operator like Alpitour

Nice location by the beach with great views; it was a great place to relax and unwind. Staff all seem to be quite fed up and will only assist if directly asked. Some staff members were sat in the lounge smoking (next to a no smoking sign) instead of attending the bar so had to be approached to get a drink from the bar. Food was decent quality but took a very long time to come out. Rooms were basic and reasonably clean, although the floor was very sandy when we first checked in. The snorkelling trip organised by Coral Redang was an amazing experience - we saw sea turtles up close which was very special, however the staff member leading the tour asked for RM30 each directly to him in order for us to go there, instead of this being included as part of the original trip. Special mention goes to the lovely tattooed lady at the dive shop who was very helpful and polite! TL;DR - Some lazy staff, unclean rooms and long waits for food. Would recommend looking elsewhere for a better experience.
