Novotel Marsa Alam Beach Resort

Definitely not a 5* resort. Unfortunately I'm very disappointed with this hotel. After reading opinions on Google & TripAdvisor (and having in mind that it's a hotel form Novotel Group) I've had some expectations but the resort didn't meet them. The biggest disappointment was definitely food - almost every day same food, small choice, grill outside? Only one thing a day, no choice at all. That was really disappointing. 2nd biggest disappointment was the moment of check in - it was late night (30/31 august), wife was 7months pregnant (so very tired after travel), we gave our passports first from the group for check in but we were checked in as last ones 🤷 3rd disappointed - hotel is understaffed. It's dinner time? You have to wait for someone to bring your drinks pretty long as there are two-three waiters doing it, sometimes you finish your dinner before your drinks. Of course there are juice&water dispensers but there are only paper cups 🤷 Bars? One-two bartenders so You have to wait really long to be served - it's not fault of bartenders they are doing great job but there is too much guest for that amount of employees. 4th disappointment - lack of plastic cups at the pool bar. Sometimes the drinks must be served in paper cups. There is lack of bartenders at the poolbar, lost of guests and bartenders must walk around pool to collect plastic cups. It can't work 🤷 Let's talk about advantages. 1st of all the stuff is awesome, they're doing great job. Very communicative and friendly. Especially lifeguards and the bartender from the poolbar (the young one wearing yellow/green shirt). They're doing awesome work. The animation team is also very friendly, talkative, they even enjoy playing board games with guests 👍 2nd biggest advantage is reef next to the hotel. Very nice, colourful and full of fish etc. We really enjoyed snorkeling there. The rooms and cleanliness were pretty good also. In general it's a fine hotel but it's need some improvement - more variety of food and more employees. Comparing this hotel to Hilton Nubian Resort Marsa Alam - Hilton wins from every angle.

Very good hotel nice view comfortable room services was great main restaurant is excellent the food is healthy delicious and has varied food. Me and my boys were so happy to come for 2nd time here enjoyed sea, snorkeling and pool. The hotel very quiet and clean. Thanks for all employees especially Vice President Mr. Sharkawy.

Mustafa Mahmoud was our room cleaner. Every day he make a beatiful figures from towel on bed. He was very friendful and helpfull. Room was very clean, he left every day new bottel with water. We came talk with him and get many helpful information. He speak english and a little bit Polish. Great Man 🙂

The restaurant is very good and the whole staff is very accommodating and friendly with all guests. The price to quality ratio is perfect, great safari, the pools were very clean and despite the high number of guests, there was no crowding feeling at all. I also liked the animation team and their shows including the darwish dance and the egyptian folklore dances. Thanks To Everyone Who Made The Experience Perfect

We have go from 28 august to 2september and we make extra night the food is good and the activites but the shows was poor but its oky the somthing that made all this trip bad after our 6 nights when we was leaving the hotel my small sister was hungry because she didnt go to the breakfast so she go to lunch to get only some french fries to eat because our trip was 12 hours the boy in the restraunt say to her no and when we asked the reception to take the lunch because we didn’t take the breakfast they say no so after we stay all this they make with us like this and this make all of us fell so bad because wo go alot of hotel 4/5 stars and we stay there only 3 days and they let us having the lunch but novotel want us only to leave they didnt give us even pottle of water!! We stayed at Novotel Marsa Allam from August 27 for four nts. Excellent Welcome upon the arrival from the hotel Management (Mr . Edouard and Mr. Sharkawy) The staff very friendly and they respond to any requests positively. We enjoyed the variety of the food and of course my kids enjoyed the hotel facilities very much Thank you to the hotel management for making our vacation remarkable.
