Best Western Plus the Inn Suites at the Falls

Hotel is beautifully located next to a river. Room is clean. Breakfast ends a bit early at 0900.

This is the second time we've stayed there and both times it's been a delight. We stayed 6 days in a suite overlooking the falls. While admittedly, it's a little dated, it's clean and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. There's coffee 24/7 and breakfast for several hours in morning. This included a nice selection of fresh fruit of apples, bananas and oranges. There was also hot and cold cereals, a variety of pastries, toast, bagels, butter, jam, cream cheese, eggs, bacon, sausage, juice, milk tea, coffee and waffles!! I think I've left a few things out, but that's ok. There are a variety of restaurants nearby, but we spent most of our time visiting family and eating with them. In any event, it's budge friendly, has a great atmosphere and we had a great time there.

The front desk clerk was a small indian lady. Super sweet super accommodating to me arriving early. I did have to pay a small fee for the early arrival, i thought it was cool had that option. i was upgraded also to a water view room looking over a gorgeous river. Long story short i would stay again an d also a Great family property

Lots of coffee choices. Nice staff. Clean rooms. Beautiful view from our room of the stream/creek.

Myself, other coaches and judges stayed here while attending a local gymnastics competition. At first all seemed ok until there was a bug found in our room- staff was great and I was switched to another room and of course I very thoroughly checked to make sure no bugs and so I got to see that the new room while it looked clean on first appearances, wasn’t really. Windowsill was gross, there was a small wrapper along the baseboard which tells me it wasn’t vacuumed properly, and when I went to pull out the sofa bed there was popcorn in it. Next morning was speaking to one of the judges at the competition and she too had to switch rooms because no heat in first room, and bugs in second room, third room was less than clean feeling but had to make do since it was very late by that point.

Large room with view for the price. Nice river out the window. Close to everything I needed.

No hot water in shower. No washcloths or mat. Breakfast was cold(eggs/sausage). English muffins were frozen, and the toaster didn't work. These are things that should not happen in hospitality work

I’m not sure what’s going on with this hotel lately. I stayed here last week and again last night, and both times the lobby and breakfast area had no heat—it was freezing. This morning there was also no hot water for a shower. The front desk attendant said she fixed it, but that didn’t help me when I needed to get to work. This used to be my go-to hotel in the Poughkeepsie area, but unfortunately that’s no longer the case.
