This place quoted one rate while I was parked in their parking lot, and charged me twice that or more. I was tired I wasn't paying attention when I signed the paperwork. Dumb of me, but when I call Choice Hotels to help me they reached out to the manager who never answered and the girl at the front desk got crappy with me when I asked for a partial refund. Very dishonest. In addition, my room was crap, really it was. STAY AWAY.

Not what we expected. Usually stay at the IHG brand but decided to give this hotel a try as it was close to where we needed to stay. Hotel stay seemed more concerned about being on their phones then doing their jobs. Stayed 4 nights but only ate breakfast there once because other than rotating sausage and bacon it was exactly the same every morning. Eggs were apparently powder with no taste. Fruit cups instead of fruit. Had cookies the first night but we didn't get them because we had dessert at dinner. They were out of them the other 3 nights and even though they said on the 2nd night they'd have them the next day they never had them again during our stay. Hotel definitely needs updating. Chairs in breakfast area need replacing. Bathroom needed painting and cleaning and curtains need washing.

It was convenient since we were attending the baseball tournament at coastal Carolina. Maybe add a better sign near the road so people can see the entrance drive better.

The staff at check-in and checkout were very friendly and professional. The breakfast could use some breakfast meats not just eggs and biscuits.
