I recently stayed at Van Durga Katra Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is nestled in a peaceful, scenic location surrounded by nature, creating a calming atmosphere that's perfect after a day of travel or visiting the Vaishno Devi shrine. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. A special mention goes to Vidyanand, whose warm hospitality and genuinely good nature made our visit truly special. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and taken care of, adding a personal touch that made all the difference. The rest of the staff were also incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed.

Excellent location and a serenic view of forest makes this place a calm and homely stay. This is for those who want to stay away from the hustle bustle of city lives. Best wishes and a special mention for mr vidyanand ji who welcomed you from the core of his heart.

Stay was good overall. The rooms require a little repairs. Cleanliness can be upgraded. It is a calm place. No noises and view is good.

The entire property is mot maintained, the build was good but looks like owner is not interested to invest anything in maintenance. The bedspread is dirty and so does the blanket. Stain marks are on wall and yes the internet doesn’t work they will give the wifi password but without internet and do ask them to recharge the tv otherwise even tv won’t be working.

It is a good property with great locations with great staff but without great care it’s losing its charm unhygienic room utensils bed mats pillow tap leaking it has lost its basic hospitality rule hygiene and its a really serious issue
