The Fox Hall Inn

The food was excellent, with special, fresh cooked pies and soups. The room was comfortable and clean. Plenty of parking available. 2 big fields behind the Inn were great for exercising the dogs.

We visited the Fox Hall Inn for a two night stay for my fiancés 30th birthday. We visited with our 6 month old son. We stayed in a deluxe family room which was outstanding. Ample space for pushchair, travel cot, play mat etc. lovely bathroom with bath and shower which was great as my son is used to having baths every night. Comfy bed, great tv with Netflix. Very quiet despite being on busy road. Only thing I would say about the room was that we were given a room on the top floor so had 4 lots of stairs to climb (no lift) which wasn’t really a problem but did make getting the pram up and down a bit of a nightmare. At meal times, the staff were wonderful, a real credit. We had two breakfasts included and booked evening meals. The breakfasts were excellent. Plenty of choice of cereal/cold breakfast and then great choice and wonderfully cooked hot breakfasts. The evening meals were also fantastic. I had pre booked a birthday cake for my partner and it was incredible. Compliments to the chef. And the choice of meal and specials were great. Honestly don’t think I could find fault and would 100% stay again. Will be recommending to family and friends. It was a great base for us, slightly out of the way for our planned activities but definitely worth it. Thank you for a lovely stay

Had a lovely night away here. The accommodation is lovely, clean, modern and comfortable. Staff can't do enough for you, so pleasant. The food was gorgeous and so much of it! Breakfast was really enjoyable, locally sourced food...it was great to get away for a little break and would definitely recommend here.

My wife & I had a fantastic lunch time meal at the Fox hall, All the meals were beautifully prepared & plated, nothing was to much trouble. Very friendly and accommodating owner & chef. We will be returning for some more of your well cooked meals, without a doubt.

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed here all be it in a motorhome in the car park. The food is good and the staff are excellent. The noise from the A66 is barely noticeable as the evening closes in , Would recommend

This was one of the worst experiences we’ve had in a long time. The staff were short and unhelpful, and not at all bothered when we mentioned the food wasn’t up to scratch. The starters were burned yet cold, the mains were over cooked and dry. The Caesar salad at a whopping £16.50 was minimal and completely dry. With gritty ice cream deserts. Such a shame to spend so much money on such a poor experience.
