Great setup for the children to play and explore. It is a pity that the rooms were dirty, poorly laid out and very expensive for what was provided. The restaurant tables were also not cleaned often unless asked and we also received dirty glasses

We booked this hotel hoping for a child-friendly stay, but were left very disappointed. Despite clearly stating we were travelling with our 8-month-old baby (who doesn’t eat breakfast and had his own cot), we were overcharged €64.80 for unnecessary extras like breakfast and nightly fees for him. When we raised this with staff, we were told it’s a common issue and that we “should have selected 0 children” in the booking — completely counterintuitive and misleading. Most booking sites require you to include all guests (especially for fire safety), so we followed standard practice. Customer service was particularly poor. No one from management would speak to us, including the hotel director who was on site. We felt completely dismissed. We received no proper explanation, no apology, and no goodwill gesture — not even a conversation. Unfortunately, this left us feeling very undervalued and frustrated. If you're a family with young children, I recommend thinking twice before booking here. There are also no baby baths available in a place that has wake in showers and several hazards in the children play area.

Disappointed
It felt like staying in a kindergarden. Small childeren running around and making noice at all hours. (even my children was overwhelmed.) The rooms were not soundproof and had no A/C. The pool was dirty. The dinner buffet was very expencive, and included only child friendly food with no taste. We booked for 2 nights , but checked out after only one night. So disappointing...

Everything about the hotel was amazing, the staff, the room, the food, all great. The hotel grouods are very clean and its a very interesting concept (Erlebnishof is an adventure farm hotel typical of Germany). Family friendly atmosphere with lots of activities for families and a great place for solo travellers.

Well equipped spacious apartment in a central location, just a few meters from the lake. Entry was easy once the appropriate information had been provided. The room was clean and had a view of the Main Street. There is a lift for those who find the stairs a struggle, making it easier with luggage. It also had an oven and a dishwasher. The town had a good selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs close by.

Avoid for now, good in 1/2 years time
Will be good in 1-2 years, until the avoid it. Restaurant is at tops mediocre, hotel is remote so your only option for food.
Pool is super nice and looks good, in reality unusable - it was ~16 degrees beginning of July.
All in all, it’s like living on a construction site that has high potential!
