On our way to an epic motorcycle trip from Dallas, we wanted to cross New Mexico off the ride list and decided to stay in Raton, New Mexico. In the Facebook Motorcycle Maps group, someone had recommended the Robin Hood Motel. We booked it (over the phone, not online). The vintage sign had me! The Robin Hood Motel has to be one of the cleanest motel/hotel/inns we have ever stayed in (and I'm a princess). The bathroom (including fixtures) were spotless. The beds were firm. It had a "vintage" Fridgedaire (sp) mini fridge, a small, but fully satellite TV ready TV. We didn't use the outside pool, but it's heated, and looked super clean. While we don't often stay at non-brand hotels/motels, because it's hard to find a great roadside motel that I'll stay in (and after passing the big brands nearby, we made a much, much better choice). We're coming back to the Robin Hood Motel in Raton, New Mexico, thanks to Mandy and the staff, and the super clean and comfortable rooms!

I stayed a week here in June while attending an event at the NRA Whittington Center. The room was very clean, the bed was good with a great mattress. It was quiet and the owner was very friendly. I will definitely stay here again next June.

Spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. Rooms do not sit next to the highway and are very quiet. I didn’t get in the pool but it was open and crystal clear and clean. Reliable wifi, coffee, fridge and microwave make for an easy and pleasant stay. Everything i needed at a great rate. I love this place!

Robin Hood Motel was a wonderful place to stop at for an overnight in Raton, NM! Might be considered “no frills” yet had the important elements for car travel motel - clean, well maintained, comfortable, & friendly! Highly recommend +++++!

We had an excellent stay at Robin Hood Motel in Raton with our doggies. The room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. We left a blanket and phone charger behind and the owner mailed them to us. An extra level of service that we really appreciated!
