We have stayed at the hotel kanchan in ratnagiri with my family. Hotel staff is nice and polite. Amenities like lift, swimming pool is there. In the room tv is available but channels not working. Food is average. Specially chicken biryani. I loved to eat tasty surmai fry. There is no hot water available in bathroom. This factory is at midc area and nearby fish oil factory, so there is some fishy smell in this area which is a drawback. Otherwise nice stay with this budget.

The washbasin was not clean, also the hotel was situated near to the dry fish unit area so it was smelling pungent all the time.

Price of the hotel is reasonable. Food is good. I stayed there three times on official work. Service provider is good.

The price and the room was good leaving the old style english toilet. It was to old style. As the hotel is contracted in 1995. They provided with bisleri bottle but both the bottle were seal broken already. The food order took almost 1 hrs 30 min to be there in room. The old rooms have less no of charging slots. The room is decent enought space and also natural light. This hotel is just near by railway station

Though hotel shows it has good swimming pool, pool was not in working condition, dirty. I wanted to go ganapatipule temple at 6am even though asked will i get hot water for bath there was no hot water. Bed sheet was given after 3 repeated calls. Veg thali was good. Tv went off at 11pm. Bad experience was at 3am my room phone rang i woke up. I banged the receiver. It spoiled my sleep & i had to get up at 5am to go to temple. It's walking distance from railway station 1kms.
