Wonderful, bright, homey restaurant. Great Lamb. Staying close to the airport and have a pub experience before leaving Edinburgh. The food was very good and served beautifully.

Full of fuddy duddies with a bland menu and tiny old people portions. Very expensive for what it is. The fish and chips is tiny. Argumentative staff. Punching above its weight. Better food elsewhere for the same huge price tag.

We went to the Bridge inn for lunch as we had been there several times previously and had enjoyed the experience. On this visit we were rather disappointed. The staff were clean and tidy, happy to serve and the surroundings were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the meal let us down. We ordered sourdough and herb butter to share, which arrived on one plate with no side plates. The main arrived at the table before we had quite finished with the starter. The main was Pie of the day which was very nice but the vegetables were undercooked. In all it felt a little rushed. For a first class establishment the experience was not what we expected.

Cuisine at the restaurant was amazing. Couldn’t call it food because it was so spectacular. Highly recommend the duck, and short ribs, more delicious. All of the staff treated me like a queen. So helpful and efficient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at the Bridge Inn - all the staff were charming and helpful, requests were met quickly, and the Pub Standards main courses we ordered were well cooked and piping hot - the chunky chips were perfect - crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. We shall return, although from Glasgow it is a bit of a journey.

Booked 4 nights here and right from the moment we arrived could not fault the friendliness of the staff. Even though it was already 8pm and the kitchen was "closed" they still offered to do a meal for us. The room was clean and tidy, plenty of hanging space/drawers, good selection of teas and coffee, not just one or two which is often the case. Bathroom was well stocked. Food on every occasion we ate there was great. The breakfast is awesome!. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The perfect location just 7 or 8 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from park and ride into Edinburgh. Highly recommended. Thanks Tim & Kathrin (Burke room).

This property is in a beautiful rural setting next to a nice canal. The rooms are overlooking the busy road that crosses the bridge and since there is no air conditioning, the windows must be open in summer and the noise is bothersome at night. The rooms are very small by US standards, but there is room under the bed to store suitcases. Our room was not very clean when we arrived and the housekeeping while we were there for 4 days was spotty. One day the trash was not emptied nor the coffee bar replenished. Due to the open window, dust is on a lot of the furniture and it does not get cleaned regularly. The wifi is weak in parts of the hotel, and we could not get wifi in our room at all. The restaurant and bar are both excellent, and the staff were always helpful and friendly.

I can't rate our experience this weekend highly enough at The Bridge Inn. We messed them around with our ever changing booking time and our extreme dietary requirements. They not only rose to the challenge (And a special thanks to our waitress today), the absolutely made the weekend for us. Not only was the food excellent, their attention to detail was superb, offering excellent food substitutions and even acting on my daughter noticing the delicious tablet with our coffees, and the waiter slipping her a few on a plate. The staff are clearly very well trained and know how to manage tricky customers. Thank you so much for making our friends reunion extra special.

Quaint and Relaxing Stay! We only stayed one night at the Bridge Inn prior to returning home from a vacation. It was very relaxing. Despite the rooms being small, as is the case with many hotel rooms, the beds were very comfortable and the shower was great! The customer service was also great. The restaurant was to die for!! The food was very high quality. The service was impeccable (Thank you, Evie). We only wish we had been able to stay longer to explore the canals and remainder of the neighborhood. It is located in a very interesting neighborhood.
