The house is beautiful and full of history! The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were beyond friendly and very helpful with suggesting places to go and eat. 10/10 will be back in the summer.

Siamo stati in questo bellissimo Hotel della Valle di Anterselva per il periodo di Capodanno e l'esperienza è stata veramente magnifica. Location di epoca rinascimentale con dentro una stube originale del XVI Secolo che è la più bella di tutto il Tirolo meridionale, ci è sembrato di vivere per qualche giorno fuori del tempo, ed il paesaggio invernale che c'era fuori dalle finestre ha aumentato la sensazione. Relax, camere ampie e comode con tutto quello che serve, servizio cordiale e perfetto, ottima colazione ed alto livello della gastronomia, tutta a chilometro zero. C'è anche uno spazio bar ricavato in un vecchi affumicatoio per lo speck, perfetta per la fine della giornata ed in cui i gestori Carmen e Luigi ed il barman Andrea vi fanno sentire perfettamente a vostro agio. Insomma una vera vacanza in un vero Castello, per una proposta fuori dalla logica del turismo tradizionale e per chi ama godere della lentezza del vivere. Torneremo anche per l'estate, la zona è piena di cose da vedere e di passeggiate da fare.

Unique Stay in the Val Pusteria
Such a cool stay! The building is a house built in the 1500’s. It was renovated within the last year in a way that perfectly preserves the history while adding modern comforts. Carmen, who owns and runs the place, is wonderful. She provided some great recommendations of places to go and helped us figure out some of our plans. She was very kind and attentive and made our stay great. We loved the very cool bar area with such great ambiance. Great breakfast as well, and Carmen was even kind enough to pack up a lovely breakfast for us when we were heading out on an early morning hike. The town is very quiet but has some good restaurants, and there’s a grocery store just across the street. Highly recommend!

Excellent
Built in the 1500’s this place has been modernized for comfort. Beautiful remote area. Wonderful staff running the place. Great views! Quaint little bar on the first floor that offers cocktails and meats and cheeses. Very comfortable large king room. There is a library where one can relax and read or play games.Breakfast was very European with eggs cooked to order. Keep in mind there are stairs and no lift to keep the history alive.This place will forever be imbedded in my heart.
