Wir sind spät in der Nacht im Hotel angekommen und wurden trotzdem herzlich empfangen – der Check-in verlief reibungslos und das Personal war sofort zur Stelle, um uns zu helfen. Schon dieser erste Eindruck war äußerst positiv.
Unser Zimmer war modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und bot alles, was man sich für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt wünscht. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Wert auf Qualität und Sauberkeit gelegt wird.
Auch das Frühstück hat uns überzeugt: eine gute Auswahl, frische Produkte und ein angenehmes Ambiente. Perfekt für einen gelungenen Start in den Tag.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Servicepersonal – durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Man fühlt sich wirklich willkommen und bestens umsorgt.
Alles in allem: absolute Empfehlung! Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

The hotel is just opposite the train station and there are supermarkets around, which is very convenient. The breakfast is rich in variety, and the restaurant staff are enthusiastic and remember what kind of coffee the guests who have stayed for a few days like to drink.

ein tolles Hotel, mitten im _Zentrum von Rapperswil. Kürzeste Wege zum historischen Zentrum, zum Schloss, zu Geschäften, zur Seeterrasse, zu Knie‘s Kinderzoo und zur Holzbrücke über den Zürichsee (nach Hurden). Tolle Restaurants und Cafés in der Umgebung und das asiatische Restaurant Sayori. Das Hotel ist (und wird aktuell noch in Teilbereichen) frisch renoviert. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind toll, liebenswürdig und vollkommen dem Gast zugewandt. Das Houskeeping nimmt stark Rücksicht auf die Wünsche der Gäste und das ganze Hotel ist Topsauber. Das Frühstück gibt es in Buffetform. Von Kaffee, Tee, über Fruchtsäfte, frisches, teils noch Ofenwarmes Brot und Croissants, Wurst, Käse, Joghurt, Müsli, frischenfrüchten, Marmelade, bis hin zu Rührei, gebr. Speck und Fleischbällchen - es fehlt an nichts! In Nähe der Rezeption gibt es eine „Nespresso“-Maschine mit gratis Kaffepads, eine Wasserstation zum selberzapfen und beides gratis! Auf Vertrauensbasis gibt es dort auch Wein, Bier, Softdrinks, Chips, Ricola-Bonbons und viele andere leckere Sachen zum Snacken. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Leistung dieses ausgezeichneten Hotels und sagen „ganz besonders herzlichen Dank“!

A very nice hotel the girls at reception were very sweet and helpful!! The breakfast was excellent!! They also had free bike rentals a nice touch on an already nice hotel. I give the hotel an overall rating of 5 stars!!

HOT! Not a good experience but hopefully temporary
Just to keep things in perspective, the issues I had seemed to be temporary due to construction but none the less what I experienced. The room was extremely hot. When I called down to the front desk to ask about it, they told me it was a known issue and should be fixed the next day. It was very hot for a couple days and then a little more managable the rest of the week but I had to keep the balcony door open the entire time (Febuary) just to keep the room at a manageable temp. The water also randomly and repeatedly went from scalding hot to cold during my showers which was fun. Other than that, its a no frills hotel but clean (aside from the construction) and in a good location (right across from the train station). I chose this place because of its location and the gym which is actually offsite but thats not a big deal. I might give it a try again and hope its better next time.
