I spent some time volunteering at this hostel and I did not enjoy my experience. I had previously stayed at this hostel as a guest and despite its isolated location I still enjoyed my time here. However, I would not suggest you to stay longer than a few days as it is so far from any built up area and the town it is closest to is very quiet with nothing going on. The hostel itself is clean and well equipped. The surf school is separate from the hostel and it is a nice school but the lessons are quite short and the classes are rather large so you don't get a lot of attention from your instructor. As a volunteer, I did not enjoy my experience here as the organisation was poor and the communication was also not good. The accommodation for the volunteers was not satisfactory and this was the only thing that was provided in exchange for work. There was a lot of pressure on the volunteers for minimum benefits and in the end this pressure was too much

The good feeling hostel has the best name! I stayed there one week with a good feeling, the best hostel I’ve seen so far. The staff is super helpful and friendly, they made me feel at home. The beds are super comfy, the hostel is very clean and the kitchen is spacious and nice! They even have a beautiful garden with pool and volleybal field! If you don’t feel like cooking, the chef prepares delicious meals where guests can participate. Also, the location is perfect. Close to both south and west side beaches, depending on where the waves are good. Even better, a beach transfer takes you to the beach and picks you up again. A care-free holiday! Thanks a lot for this experience!

Best hostel I stayed so far because all the people I met there were extremely friendly. Every evening they cooked and for 12 € you could eat altogether, in the 12 € even the red wine was included! There was a bar were you could have a Caipirinha for 3 €, beers for 1.5€, so it was really cheap! If you want to go surfing its really a good place to stay, the surf school in the hostel was good too! The only negative point was that you were not too close to the beach or to places were you could go party if you do not have a car. But you can always find someone that takes you to the beach!

Really nice and helpful staff. Also the accommodation was enjoyable. Beautiful views. The place to be if you want to have a central place to travel to the surf beaches. Cabins were nice and just what we wanted. Food was good and not expensive. Boards and suits for hire. People staying in dorms were nice and quiet, so place is suited for families. Things to improve: there are too many dogs barking at night. You will need earplugs. Interior (kitchen) needs repairing and updating. Pool could use a ladder to get out easier.

Nice and chill Hostel. They have the best car, the best Carlos and the best cat. Have been coming here for surf holidays for a couple of years. Great location to pick as a home base with quick access to all the surf beaches in the area. Also here is a picture of the cat!

The place met my expectations, I wasn't traveling by car so it was quite convenient having a bus stop just a few meters away from site. There is a small supermarket and a tiny family restaurant 5min walking away from them too. My room was infested with ants and I found a bit unsettling the night toilet trips since the shared bathrooms are not necessarily close to the bungalows. On my last day I had to take an ice cold shower since there seemed to be an issue, and we couldn't go to sleep without a shower after a long day at the beach. The shared kitchen stoves are not functioning well either, but the atmosphere of the place is great! What surprised me the most was not being able to pay by card on site, let alone asking for an invoice. Staff was friendly, though! Especially Claudia, the Spanish speaking receptionist, and the girl from the bar was amazing too! Overall was a nice experience, there was no noise through the night and we enjoyed the roosters and nature surrounding the place.
