It's not in the center, but Palm Springs itself is not that big, so it was easy to get around.
The bedding was clean, and the outdoor pool was clean. They serve coffee in the office in the morning.
There's also ample parking.
The facilities are generally old. The light in front of the desk was broken, but they fixed it when I asked the desk.
The staff are all friendly.
If you book cheaply, it's a good value choice.

6. There are few plugs in the room and no hair dryer. Fortunately, I brought my own hair dryer.
7. The room is dimly lit and the soundproofing is poor. You can hear noises from upstairs while sleeping at night...
If possible, I will look for another hotel next time😭

I called the same day I booked to request a downstairs room. I was assured I’d get a downstairs room. When I checked in, I reconfirmed it was a downstairs room and they said they’d given me an upstairs room. I asked them if they could give me a downstairs room and they said they didn’t have any. The South Asian manager said very insincerely, “Sorry,” while the desk agent said nothing at all. They didn’t even offer me any discount off my booking or a voucher towards a future stay. NOT recommended.

On Memorial Day, we went to Palm Springs for a quick turnaround to get away from the city. As we got closer to PS, traffic was so congested going west there was no way we could see ourselves making that long drive home and mess up our one day holiday. We decided to make a stop at Rancho Mirage location to inquire if a room was available to get out of the sun which weather was also warmer than we anticipated. The Manager was there and we were able to check-in early and get out of the sun and get cool! The room was very clean, beds / pillows were inviting and allowed us to relax and not worry about driving until the next morning. It is reassuring to have a hotel and Manager you trust and know it will be affordable, when emergencies arrive that cannot be controlled. We made the best of our day and shopped at Target to get tooth brushes, snacks etc. just down the hwy. The refrigerator kept all of our snacks and beverages cold so we did not have to compromise basics. The Manager was there to greet us and he always has ample security that drives by and keeps his hotel safe! Thank you Manager for making our day better! Linda
