Residence Inn Sacramento Rancho Cordova

Very, very unplugged mold/musty odor in fitness center, Unpleasant strong cooking odors throughout the building! Needs ventilation and to be aired out. Staff is friendly and efficient. Location is convenient to the freeway and a short drive from restaurants and stores. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was properly prepared and attendant kept the breakfast area clean and well-stocked (waffle machine, hot entree, yogurt, bagels/toast, hard boiled eggs.)

Room was very spacious and clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was decent and there was several dining options in the area available. Would stay again.

An Excellent Home Away from Home We applaud the team at this hotel for highly responsive plus superb customer service. The amenities are very good, parking is easy, and the price is quite reasonable. Also, the location is excellent for getting around the Sacramento area.

I truly don’t understand how this hotel is rated so high. It is one of the most disgusting, filthy, smelly hotels I have ever stayed in. I am honestly shocked this is a Marriott. My room was disgusting, carpet sticky and wet, smelled like urine. I ended up not staying it was that disgusting

Pool was small, loud, dirty (strange bubbles on top, murky water, sand on bottom, windows filthy) and dangerous - ladder at deep end had top step that swiveled 360 degrees when you tried to sept on it. There were no towels. Exercise room dark stuffy and not well equipped. Also a strange smell in there. Food was blah, hard tasteless eggs, no fruit, lots of starch. The "store'' had little to offer - chips, icecream, some drink, no alcohol, very little in the way of frozen dinners - mac and cheese. Our room was extremely loud and freeway was close by, but circuitous to get to hotel from there and back. Also cold and insufficient bedding, uncomfortable sofa and way too soft bed - we all woke with back aches. This inn is set in a parking lot adjacent to a business complex and ******- weird. The kitchenette had bare minimum. No oven, just two burners. The saving grace was the staff, who did the best they could given minimal resources and understaffing. Kudos to them for keeping a brave face despite disgruntled patrons.

We needed to stay close to the hospital to support a family member's critical surgery and hospital stay - to have quick and easy access to the hospital. Residence Inn was accommodating in allowing us flexibility to extend our stay as well as watched out for our our adult disabled daughter's safety while we were going to and from the hospital. It was a very clean and safe and quiet facility.
