The Falstaff Hotel & Restaurant Ramsgate

We were very pleased with our room ( number 7) on the top floor. It had a large very comfortable bed and the shower was powerful. We liked the view over the roof tops. The stairs are narrow though so not easily accessible to infirm guests. The continental breakfast was adequate and included in the price. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking behind the hotel was great when we eventually found it!!

We love this place ! Friendly and welcoming, very clean and the best location on Addington Street. The food is the best here … home made cakes are delicious especially the polish apple cake and Bakewell tart …. Oh and the carrot cake and orange & almond ! All home made as well as sausage rolls etc.. Breakfast/ brunch and lunch are equally as great and well presented, excellent service and the staff are really lovely. Pete I believe is the manager / owner - all appears very well managed and everything of top quality. He’s a friendly and welcoming chap too ! Have not stayed in a room as live nearby but the photos look good. There’s outdoor space at the back - a large and pretty patio and they often have BBQs in the Summer. I highly recommend this place for any occasion / coffee, breakfast, lunch or holiday ! :)

We booked the Falstaff for a couple of nights whilst staying in Ramsgate for a relatives birthday party. The hotel is very quiet and offers mostly breakfast and lunch plus coffee and cake. I think it seemed popular with locals.its situated down a quiet side road and the walk into Ramsgate harbour area is about 10 mins but it's down a steep hill or there's steps. Room was lovely and bed comfy. Breakfast is only continental which for us consisted if some ham and cheese slices, a slice of bread with jam and butter, a croissant and a cup of coffee. Plus there was some crunchy nut cornflakes or muesli. We thought there was a cooked breakfast option for an extra payment but it wasn't offered . All in all though if your looking for a quiet comfortable stay then this is ideal.

This is my favourite hotel in Ramsgate, packed with charm and its own cafe bar and meeting space. It’s beautifully furnished and clean throughout, fab comfortable bed, huge shower, parking nearby. Great service too!

Such a brilliant find with a very warm and welcoming stay. Great value for money and the property was tastefully sympathetic to its history. Perfect location and we will definitely return.
