AC Hotel Raleigh North Hills

Valet from July 4-5 was amazing with their service. Steven on the 4th gave us a bunch of info about the area and was prompt with retrieving our vehicle. The young man on the morning shift of the 5th was amazing also. The hotel stay was also amazing and the over all experience was worth the 2 hour drive we made to visit Raleigh. I recommend this hotel to all my coworkers and friends!

Stayed here for a night, the hotel was nice. When we arrived, the valet staff, Nigil and Key greeted us on the front drive. Both gentlemen were helpful getting bags out, helping learn our way around, and suggesting dinner within walking desistance. We ended up at the BBQ Lab based on recommendation, delicious and filling. Once we called for our vehicle in the morning, Eric, was there to greet us, helped load bags, and send us off. We look forward to our next trip to Raleigh and to this hotel.

I'm a loyal Marriott member, however, this is my first AC Marriott experience. Great location in an area that is close to some shops, and within walking distance to restaurants. Valet parking is available for a fee ($15 for the day and $30 overnight I believe). Free parking is available across the street in the parking structure. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good size fitness center for the size of the hotel. The hallways have a comfortable atmosphere. I know it's weird as I only go from the elevator to the room, but I liked it. the double-bed room is a decent size. Small closet area, small fridge and coffee maker. Glass shower door and rain shower head, which is good. The desk is on the same size as the television, so it's hard to watch while sitting and working at the desk. Four pillows for each bed, most were on the soft side. If you are on the side facing NE, you will face an apartment community. Overall, if you are in the Raleigh area, you should stay here.

Stayed here for a weekend. The hotel was nice. But it’s a few employees that I would love to mention in the review. Steven from valet was the best! Tora and Salazaku at the front desk were amazing as well! Would definitely stay here again, whenever I come back to visit.

This modern hotel is in a new city center in Raleigh. Walking distance to a number of restaurants and grocery store. Major shopping center is a few block away. Hotel staff is very helpful, clean room and comfortable beds. The room design is my only negative. It is the newer 'Euro-minimalist' design with hard floors and no dresser drawers.

There is a night club on the roof. There is loud pulsing music blasting all hours of the night. This is not a hotel to stay and relax. There are patry people up in here. This pace is not safe! Drunks in your elevator!

had a horrible experience at this Marriot during my 6 night stay here. I ended up checking out early and cancelled all my future reservations. I was told by front desk Maty Kroma that I won't be charged a cancellation fee for early check out and printed bill copy. However a few days later my credit card was charged for the fee. Manager Alaiya Ferguson is completely unresponsive and unhelpful. During my several attempts to get a refund she even accused me of aggressive behavior (when I was checking out of the hotel). I told her that I was very upset with my experience which was borderline ****** but I was always respectful therefore I asked her to pull the security camera footage as evidence. In any case, eventually they finally refunded the money. Excellent location but poorly managed. Very unusual for a Marriot. Crabtree Marriot close by is much nicer and well managed. Please check your bill and be careful when talking to the front desk or managers at this hotel.

My sister and I booked this room on the day we were arriving for 3 nights due to a family emergency. We did not check into the hotel until after 3:30am. The doors were locked and when the night registration desk man came to the door, he said we were either checking in real late or real early. When we explained our sister died a few hours ago, he was so compassionate and cancelled our other 2 nights without question and gave us a late check out in the early afternoon. He offered us water or soft drinks and a snack. We were so grateful. The room was very nice, 2 queen size beds, decent size room and bathroom and very clean. The checkout was seamless and the reception guy at the desk asked if we wanted a bottle of water for the road and thanked us for staying in the hotel. I told him this was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a hotel in a long time. (He did not know what our last 24 hours had been like). I’d like to commend the exceptional customer service of the staff at this hotel and would highly recommend staying here if ever in North Hills. I’ve stayed at a different hotel in North Hills on many occasions and was satisfied, but this one is my new favorite! Thank you AC Hotel!

This review is for the rooftop lounge. Hotel staff were wonderful from the valet to checkin staff to every staff member who greeted us with a smile. After checking in around 3 we headed upstairs to the lounge. Stepping off the elevator there was no host or sign indicating to wait to be seated or to seat yourself. With maybe 6 patrons at the bar, the bartender stared at our group as we walked around, before deciding we would sit outside. There were menus at all the outside tables so we waited for someone to take our drink order. After approximately 20 minutes of no service, we left. Waiting for the elevator to take us back to our room, the bartender never looked up despite a near empty bar of 4 patrons. Maybe it was an off day, but will not be returning to the bar. Again, hotel staff were great, I would go elsewhere for a drink.
