I've stayed in many Homewood Suites, and this one is by far the best! It's extremely clean, perfectly designed, and it sleeps like a gem! We went up on a Friday and were able to get street parking versus using the valet parking, which is around $50. A little pricey for the area, so if you don't mind street parking, then go for it! Only one person was checking in guests, but the line went fast. The gentleman was pleasant and checked us in quickly. The Lobby!!! I didn't tell you about the lobby. It's more high-end than any other Homewood Suites I've ever been to, smells luxurious with high-end decor. The room is spacious and makes you feel like you stepped into your private studio apartment. Bathroom- clean, spacious, and a mini-spa. Location - walkable to numerous restaurants in the area! Would definitely stay here again and again!

Great location downtown Raleigh. Rooms are very spacious, clean, loved the kitchen as we had an extended stay. Public areas were well appointed, appreciated having the gym and laundry facilities. Breakfast was good, the service team at breakfast were fantastic, friendly, accommodating, remembering food preferences. Front desk team were hit and miss, either wonderful or barely helpful. Housekeeping was also inconsistent, we only received services once during a five day stay, was supposed to be every other day. Then they came into our room (unannounced) at 7:30 AM on our departure day. Lastly, we choose the hotel partly as it had EV charging as we had a lot of driving the week we were there. The first few nights charging was not a problem however the night before our check-out with a long day of driving ahead there was a non-EV parked in the charging spot where we normally charge. Valet asked us to charge in a different spot (versus moving the non-electric vehicle), we did not realize until the morning that the charger was not working properly. This set us back quite a bit for our appointments that day. Overall good stay but certainly some training issues to be resolved.

This hotel is clean, comfortable, and convenient to the Red Hat Ampitheater. The staff was great and the valet service was polite and very efficient. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Raleigh.

My husband and I have stayed at this location twice. It is a wonderful experience, even when we show up late at night. The staff is lovely. It's nice to see the same faces each time we arrive. We especially love Dennis, the barista at Moonsong. He is kind, patient and funny. It is our go-to hotel when we travel to Raleigh now.

Check-in at Home2 Suites Raleigh Downtown was smooth and professional, setting a positive first impression. The suite itself impresses with a modern, open-plan layout, combining a full kitchen, lounge, and double queen beds into a well-lit, contemporary space that feels both inviting and functional. The kitchen area is a standout: sleek, full-sized stainless steel appliances (including a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and cooktop), a clean white countertop, and an island with bar stools make this feel more like a studio apartment than a hotel. Glassware and utensils are neatly provided, ideal for extended stays. The living space is spacious and well-appointed. Comfortable beds, a cozy sofa, smart lighting, and a wall-mounted TV create a relaxed and usable area, perfect for either work or downtime. The decor is minimalist yet warm, with thoughtful touches like a dresser and seating nook by the window. The bathroom, though beautifully designed with modern tile and a large walk-in shower, was where things fell apart. Shockingly, the cold water did not work—an essential feature that shouldn’t be overlooked. This made basic hygiene tasks uncomfortable and frustrating, especially after a long day of travel. To make matters worse, the room door didn’t latch securely unless pushed shut with force—something most guests wouldn’t expect to check. As a result, another guest mistakenly walked into the room—an unnerving and entirely avoidable incident. The hallway and common areas were well-maintained and stylish, but it’s hard to overlook issues with basic maintenance and security, no matter how attractive the surroundings.

I recently stayed at the Homewood Suites there and had a great experience with the staff here. I normally do have a great experience with the valet here at the Homewood suites. However, on my most recent stay here one of the valet drivers named Hunter went above and beyond. He was very helpful, kind and accommodating. I would hope I see him here again the next time I stay here as well.

Upon arriving, we entered the parking garage, Dwayne and his staff took good care of me. They were friendly and very professional. Check in was great and we headed to our rooms. The rooms were spotless and very nice. This is the hotel you want to stay at. Spacious and well stocked with everything you need. Comfortable beds and pillows. Juan at the front desk was one of a kind. He was so polite and helpful to me. I was charged for 2 cars but only had one car and he refunded my fee for the two days I was charged. He also helped me with a location in the hotel to host a brief meeting. Everything at this location is top tier. Breakfast can be approved, the two mornings I was here, there was hardly any food out, and was told I'm the only person working. We waited about ten minutes for syrup, the eggs were gone, sausages were cold on one day, they serve some type of shredded chicken eat morning, and the waffle line was long due to others making more than one at a time. Once food got replenished it was all good. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. Location great, walking distance to the convention center. Parking is $30 a day and its valet but across from entrance its $10 a day and its covered.
