From the time that I walked into Home 2 Suites by Hilton I was pleased. The two gentlemen at check-in were very welcoming and informative. They explained everything about the hotel and offered information of places to eat near us. Our room was ready for us and very clean. Breakfast had a variety of choices and all was enjoyable with all areas very clean. Check-out went fast and smooth and I was asked how was my stay and if there were any problems. There was nothing negative fir me to say. Our stay was great! I am a freguent traveler and will definitely return to this Homes and Suites Hilton if in the area!

We had two rooms one room checking in for two nights starting on Friday and another room starting on Saturday. When we arrived there was an issue with the internet and we had to wait in the lobby until they found a solution however my issues was on Saturday. I arrived at 3:30pm to check into the second room and there were still challenges with the internet connection so I had to fill out a credit card authorization form and present my id to be copied which I obliged to, after this I had to wait in the lobby as the front desk agent told me she has to “check in everybody who’s in line before she goes to manually see which rooms are clean before issuing keys. About an hour passed and I observed persons being checked in who came after me so I proceeded to the front desk and inquired only to be told I need to fill out a form. I inquired which additional form do I need to fill out and to my amazement it was the same form we did previously. I told the young lady that we already did this step and she moved around some paperwork she had scattered on the desk and very nonchalantly stated that she couldn’t find the form so I have to redo another form. I inquired where is the previous form with all my credit card information and she stated she couldn’t find it after several minutes of back and forth I recommended she go to the back where she took my id and see if the form is there and apparently it was just there sitting in the back.long story short I got the keys after another 10minutes and went to the room, while going to take a shower human hair was all over the floor of the bathroom. I decided to send the manager an email a Mr. Nader Sedfawy highlighting the challenges . On Sunday morning I asked to speak with MR. Nader Sedfawy and explained to him my challenges at check in and he was rather unbothered and even mentioned that I am making “ a big deal out of nothing” ( your front desk agent miss placing my sensitive information is nothing I guess), secondly I showed him the pictures of the hair i found in the bathroom area and he stated he will talk to the housekeeping manager on Monday might I mention nowhere in this interaction was an apology issued no empathy, no understanding just a blatant disregard for my challenges.

After spending 4 days of our 2 Week vacation in a run down Hilton Garden Inn in Nanuet N.Y. We were pleased when we arrived at this location for a 5 day stay, When we walked through the doors Maria welcomed us with a big smile and awesome customer service, The Hotel was lobby was large and clean, check in was fast, and our room was superior to that of our last location, room was clean and large, had everything we need for our stay, housekeeping was fantastic, breakfast staff awesome, this staff at this location made our vacation with There warmth and friendliness and professionalism, hotel is near 2 major malls (15 minute drive) dining options able to walk or drive, the NJ Transit station into Manhattan was a 20 minute walk in downtown Rahway, Grocery Store was about a 3 minute drive as well as large outdoor shopping plaza, We have food our new home in Rahway at this Hotel, Stayed once at the Hampton Inn Linden a mile away and the place was also one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed, nothing but attitude from there staff, you cannot go wrong with the Home2suites Rahway, We will be back!

Everyone I encountered at this hotel was warm and welcoming. My room was spacious and spotless! Nice fitness center. The overall customer service was exceptional!The complimentary breakfast was great too! Highly recommended.

Ive been trying for years to get Hilton to fix the issue of the digital key not working in more than half it's properties. Why can't Hilton Fix this? I had the digital key already to go but it didnt come up on the ap. Waited in line for 20 minutes while a guest was trying to pay in cash, and then he had to go to the ATM, while the line backed up. When we finally got the key 20 minutes later, my wife and I went up to the 3rd floor, and no where, NO WHERE, was the room number written. Check the ap, right? Nope...no where on the ap was our room number. My wife had to go down to the front desk and get the room number. Dear Hilton: We're tired and want to get to our room as soon as possible. Guess what? Your digital key doesn't work in probably half the hotels I've visited. You have the know this correct? For God's sake will you please fix the digital key issue? I'm begging you.

Very bad customer service! When brought to attention of sewage smell coming from bathroom, only offered to come spray the room, what should have been done in that case was a room change, nothing was offered and I am honors member not happy at all!!!! Stay at your own risk

Budget hotel with large rooms. Economical for extended stays. Amenities were basic, don't expect luxury. Some areas appeared dated and not as clean as it should be. Hotel receives a lot of guests so maybe it is getting run down. Continental breakfast is average with few choices and ends early at 9 am. Attendant puts out limited amount of food so it runs out quickly. Breakfast area has limited seating and few tables. This is our second stay at the hotel. On both occasions, guests tend to gather outside the main entrance and create noise well past midnight. Had to call front desk a couple of times to resolve issue. Sofa bed has uncomfortable mattress. Hotel should invest in a better quality sofa bed especially if they advertise rooms can accommodate multiple guests. Hotel is close to Rahway NJ transit train station - less than a mile and can be reached by foot. Other than the train station, there isn't much around the property. No maid service on weekends, make sure to get to clean towels by Friday morning.

Upon checking in right at 3pm, we noticed the room was unusually hot. We tried to adjust the AC unit, but despite adjusting the temperature and turning to the "high" setting, very little airflow was coming out. The heat in our room was made worse by the wall AC unit in the hallway right outside our room blowing what was clearly hot air (despite it being the middle of summer). The bathroom also smelled like a dead rotting animal or something. I called down to the front desk and asked them to switch us to a different room, and they put me on hold for quite a while. Instead of answering my call that was held, they sent a technician to the room who basically just tapped on the AC a couple times and said 'it's fixed". Well, it wasn't, and I let him know that. In the meantime with my call to the front desk still on hold, my wife went down to the front desk at which point they tell her there are no other rooms available, and that everyone else is all checked in already. I knew that was a lie because we checked in right at the start of check in and saw no one else in the lobby. After we both argued with the front desk, they finally said they could move us to the room right above us (guess they did have other empty rooms after all), and the reason they didn't want to move us to a different room earlier was because we booked through Priceline, and that "3rd party websites get the worst rooms". Fortunately the new room had a working AC unit and no dead rotting animal smells, but we only got to that point of getting a new room after so much unnecessary arguing and added stress for my wife and I. The kicker is when we were eating breakfast in the morning, I noticed they have a big sign hanging up with their "Home 2 Guarantee" stating "We guarantee an engaging experience and clean, comfortable accommodations. If you aren't completely satisfied, let us make it right or that night's on us." Doesn't sound like the staff is abiding to this guarantee, especially when they blatantly lie to their guests. I can't stand liars. It's so disrespectful and unappreciative for the staff here to lie to their guests. My advice: If you're staying in the area, avoid this hotel like the plague.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. They also welcome pets and service animals and there was a nice little walking path you can take them on.. there is also a complementary breakfast. Other than the pool being out of service, this was a great hotel.
