Motel Bavaria

Location: Highly praised for being quiet, off the highway, and within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and main streets.

Nice motel with big rooms. There's an area to sit outside in the evening. Nice and clean. Quiet too and lots of sheep roaming the streets. Highly recommend booking this one over some of the dumpy places up the hill.

I stayed in room # 2. Twice the toilet overflowed on me. I complained to the owner four times in three days. The toilet is so old that it is Harvest Gold in colour. I was so paranoid to use it that I wasn't flushing any toilet paper down it. The owner said he fixed it but he didn't. I told him there is something plugged deep down and he needs to snake it. I asked him to leave me a plunger and he did but it is an old and ineffective one. I asked him if he could move me to another room and he said he couldn't because they were sold out as it was the May long weekend. Doesn't matter how the rest of the room was because when you don't have a toilet that works properly, it ruins your whole stay. Thankfully I could go to a friend's townhouse a couple of blocks away to use their facilities. The morning I left I did number one in the toilet and I put just a small amount of toilet paper in the toilet and flushed and sure enough it overflowed on me again. I was so disgusted about this. He needs to upgrade that 30+ year old toilet and invest in some proper plungers. I hope that no other rooms have a toilet like Room # 2.
