Dit was ons 2e keer in Villa di Capovento (2024 en 2025) en hadden wij weer een fantastisch verblijf. Wederom goed ontvangen, lekker gegeten, dankzij haar man Ettore. En het ontbijt is voortreffelijk , iedere dag een verrassing en alles wat je maar kan wensen. Stella is een voortreffelijke gastvrouw, altijd goed gezind en klaar om wat dan ook voor haar cliënten te doen. Een aanrader is hun Limocello en je moet zeker hun super lekkere olijfolie mee naar huis nemen. Bart en Wil Peverelli.

One of the best experiences we’ve had together! Such a quaint part of Italy tucked away in the Tuscan hills, with some of the best views we have seen throughout our whole trip. The hosts, Stella and Ettore, could not be more welcoming or lovely. The menu changes daily and everything is so delicious! They are the hosts and the chefs! Very friendly, and close proximity to other local excursions like wine tasting and cooking classes in Castellina and Chianti!

Bellissima la Villa di Capovento, abbiamo passato una settimana molto rilassante. La cucina è ottima!! Tutto fatto a mano da Ettore e Stella con ingredienti loro, pane, pasta, verdure..Accoglienza impeccabile, Panorama da urlo! Insomma tutto 5 stelle!!!

Our stay was perfect. The location is beautiful and central to several attractions in the region. Our room was cozy and had everything we needed. Stella and Ettore, our hosts, are friendly and helpful. Their home cooked meals were delicious! We will definitely be going back.

A great choice!!
What a wonderful and relaxing place to stay! Stelle and Ettore put a great amount of care and forethought into their property. The location in Tuscany is excellent with a number of small villages only a short drive away. The winery, only a short 10 minute walk away, is excellent as well.

The best there is if you need a quiet retreat venue! This is it! The food prepared by the chef is comparable to a michellin star rated. The service..is excellent! It is a perfect if you need a place to stay in Chianti.

Our 2nd stay here after a 6 year gap and it was just as wonderful as our first visit. Ettore and Stella create a warm and beautiful environment and you have complete freedom to either stay at the property and relax, take amazing hikes or drive around the beautiful Tuscan countryside. As per our last visit, we ate at Capovento each night and enjoyed fantastic food with local ingredients. We are already planning our next trip to Italy in 2025 and that will definitely incorporate spending more time at this beautiful home.
