This waterfront property, with DIRECT ACCESS TO WATER, SWIMMING, FISHING, BOATING, PADDLE BOARDING and KAYAKING, has it all! And....just minutes to historic downtown Boston. Two bedrooms, Queen and 2 twins with an additional day bed and futon in the living room. .Beautiful sunsets and water views from every window! Come and breathe in the salty ocean air. Public transportation stops right on our corner, or just sit back and take the ferry . 10 minutes to the boardwalk, boats, shops at Marina Bay and ferry to historic Boston. Local bike trails weave through protected marshlands teeming with wildlife. Come photograph the swans, herons and egrets swimming in front of the house. All water view photos were taken from in front of the house. Lobster pot and essentials provided. So much to do! Or do nothing..... on a float in the Bay....... Our home is fully equipped with fast, wireless internet, 2 large flat screen tv’s in bedrooms 1&3: high speed wifi. There are 2 kayaks (paddles and life vests) on the premises and five boogie boards. We have 2 metal detectors and a telescope for fun and a fishing pole with tackle box. The space is approximately 1000 square feet with hardwood floors throughout. Duplex with private side entrance and contactless check-in and out. Parking is free. Self check in with numeric locks and 24 hour live response. The compact apartment is about what I expected after checking out the satellite views of the area. Parking and navigation was easy as was access to the bus a block away. Walks along the Quincy Bay view street were pleasant. Our hostess was great with all kinds of helpful advice. Cost was quite reasonable. The only negative was traffic noise our first night [Thursday]. Nits were uneven floors that settled over the decades and a shower that could use updating. I'd go back.

This was perfectly located for all that we wanted to do! We went into Boston to explore one day, then to Nantasket beach for another. The owner was immediately responsive to a problem that came up! Good space for my family to spend a long weekend!

Boston Marathon Enjoyed being out of Boston and being close to public transportation to get to Boston. Know it was going to be hectic but all the people running in the race and everyone cheering all throughout the course was absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing your house and the history of it.

Boston Vacay We stayed here for our summer vacation. We were busy, so the house was a place to sleep. It was muggy because there’s no central air, just a free standing unit in the living room. It made for stuffy nights unless you kept the bedroom doors open. Sleeping with the windows open was difficult because traffic on the streets was nonstop & loud. The fridge had leftover food from prior tenants & there was a dirty washcloth in the shower, which we’ve never encountered at a VRBO before & made us wonder if their cleaning crew had done anything. The pics of the property & views listed were very misleading. You might have some of those views if you had access to the whole house. We were surprised that someone was living on the 2nd floor, so we weren’t prepared to see & hear signs of life upstairs. When people say the floor slopes, it REALLY slopes, like things were sliding down the floor & it was a fall risk & we were tripping if we didn’t pay attention. The bathroom didn’t lock & you had to control the light from the outside of the bathroom, which the kids enjoyed pranking each other, so there was that. I didn’t complain because it was what it was & aside from the fact they need a better cleaning crew, the rest was structural & bad location in general. Although, would be nice to update pics to reflect what you’re actually getting & advertise it’s not a house, it’s just a downstairs apartment. It served it’s function, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Loved it! The home was lovely and had everything we needed. The host was quick to respond and super helpful. The dogs loved the beach and the location was perfect for our week in Boston. Five stars!
