We stayed as part of a tour 14 people in total including our family of 5 . The worst part are the staff they are very sullen and difficult and unfriendly which is in stark contrast to literally anywhere else in Costa Rica where everyone else was warm friendly fun and welcoming . You are immediately greeted with the importance of listening to their long list of rules which did not include not using your towels whilst at the beach . When we used 2 we were advised that we would be charged accordingly unless I could go and clean them myself . Given that my son was showering the night before when smoke started to billow from the electrics and fill the room and causing the children to be moved to another non air conditioned room all without any apology I pointed out that as we had been very understanding perhaps they too should be in these circumstances . An hour later I was waiting to hear the decision of the manager who couldn’t be contacted and eventually gave up . The hotel is a bit like a hostel , very neglected the photos are very misleading . The shower ( the one that didn’t blow up ) was cold , the breakfast pancakes were raw and the waitress very grumpy. The only positives were the bed and pillows were comfortable and the location is near a supermarket and the bus station but that’s it . If you can stay elsewhere you really should.

The beds were comfortable and the good A/C was everything in this hot area. We had no issues with wifi on our ground floor room and the rooftop pool area was very nice and a great place to relax in the afternoon with a sun shade over the pool. Breakfast was fine. The wristband to return after hours is a little annoying only because it's like a concert wristband and I nearly ripped it off out of habit every evening.

There was no hot water not shampoo provided as per hotel policy. Only one thin worn towel provided. I asked staff for a hand towel and one would have thought I asked for the moon. Staff was not friendly or helpful. I would definitely stay elsewhere.

This hotel is conveniently located to restaurants, grocery stores, bus/taxi stops, and tour companies. Our tour group stayed for two nights and was given the option of an American or Costa Rican breakfast. The AC and fan come in handy after a long day of activities. The rooftop pool was great for relaxing in the evening. Unfortunately, the WiFi was weak throughout the property and only really worked in the reception area. Our toilet seat was stripping and management didn’t think it was priority to fix it before having guests stay for two days/night. The hot water didn’t work, which is fine if you notify your guest at check-in about this issue. Overall, our group made the best of it but improvements are needed

Close to grocery stores. Nice sized rooms. Lovely roof-top pool (although not deep enough to swim). Used by many groups. Breakfast nothing special and you need to make selection of 2 choices night before. Convenient for tours to pick up. Surprisingly quiet for next to a busy city street. Wi-fi on-and-off.

Our tour via G Adventures took us to this 'hotel' which I would not choose to stay myself. This 'hotel' was more like a prison than an actual hotel. The prison staff were fine but generally unhappily glued to their phones. The WiFi only worked in the lobby, nowhere else around the compound. There was no temperature control for the shower and it was mostly a cold shower. In my opinion it is quite essential to have control of the shower temperature and have access to hot water! The included breakfast is pretty rubbish and I suggest you eat in town. Futhermore they give you a horrible paper band to wear around your waist so if you arrive after 7pm the prison guard will let you back in. The positives, the AC was strong, the beds were comfortable, rooms were clean enough and the roof top pool was nice. The location is also relatively good, easy to access nearby ATMs and transport out of Quepos. All in all I would not recommend this accommodation.

I’ve never written a bad review in my life, and I fully understand the weight that reviews hold for businesses in tourist locations. This hotel was already booked as a last option due to our trip falling during a busy season and our preferred hotel being booked up. so our expectations were fairly low, but we didn’t expect them to surpass our lowest expectation. The only redeeming quality about this hotel was a decent bed. Aside from that, Le Priss met absolutely zero basic expectations any hotel should have, such as no hot water; occasionally no running water at all. Our friends who stayed in a separate room did not even have water to brush their teeth with in the morning. When you arrive they make you fill out a full form for each room, including the choice for breakfast that you will stuck with for your entire stay, and make you wear a bracelet as though you are in an all inclusive resort, (I assume for the breakfast and pool) We tried the breakfast the first morning which was cold and incredibly underwhelming compared to the other two hotels we visited during our trip to CR. Go to Soda Sanchez instead! The front desk staff, who were already very unpleasant, chased us down for not having our bracelets on by the end of our stay and when I explained that we haven’t used the pool or had breakfast there the young man rolled his eyes and walked away shaking his head. Free wifi is advertised, and the hotel has about 5 wifi networks with not a single one of them available in the rooms. If you need to access any wifi you have to huddle outside next to a router, rain or shine. They provide a remote to a “smart” TV in the room with netflix, prime video, and youtube, but of course you cannot connect to any of them for they all require wifi…which is only available outside the room. The jacuzzi doesn’t work. There is no “snack bar/restaurant”. Parking is free, but comes at the cost of your sanity because they pack as many cars in as possible usually leaving someone trapped. Be prepared to be locked in the gate for a while if you park later in the evening.

We stayed here as part of a tour and it was out last stop on a east to west trip. Hotel was comfortable although staying on the third floor was ok for us there was no lift so some may struggle. Covid restrictions in place, everyone wore masks and the dining areas was controlled so no worries from that point of view. Sadly the only complaint was lack of hot water. Our room was at the far end and it seems that any water was used up by the time it got to use so cold showers only! Hotel is convenient, 15 minute walk to the marina or one minute to the bus stop to get to the beach and national park. Local laundry was great and bakers nearby was excellent. Wifi is only available on the balconies outside the hotel doors and a little intermittent. Not great for finishing online covid travel documents!!!
