I wonder how many Chinese people have stayed at this treasure hotel?
What a perfect hotel, a beautiful and quiet place in Queenstown.
Enjoy a corner of the sky full of stars,
The service is very considerate, and the fireplace is warm in winter.
We went skiing in the morning and breakfast was delivered to the hotel the night before.
The toiletries are all organic.
In short, although it is a bit far away from the center of Queenstown,
But isn’t that what resort hotels are all about? Queenstown Azur, love it!
Total bliss just minutes from Queenstown. This stunning setting is completely private, yet just 5 minutes drive to downtown Queenstown. The property borders a reserve, full of native birds. With no other properties in front, relax and enjoy the exquisite and uninterrupted views of Lake Wakatipu and the mountains from the spa pool. The open plan living area opens right out onto the balcony where you can enjoy bite-the-back-of-your-hand beauty all around and enjoy the use of the pizza oven. This exceptional property will help create a holiday you will never forget.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.
I had a lovely stay at Ora Retreat! Cabin was already warm when I got there (late night check in), literally a warm welcome! I got to meet their cutest dog Dusky as well 🫶

The scenery outside the window is beautiful, the bedding is comfortable, the room is warm, the breakfast is exquisite and delicious, and the management staff are enthusiastic.
Location was honestly excellent and unbeatable, it’s right next to a bus stop where coaches pick you up for the Milford sound day tour. It’s also a short walk to the steamer wharf area, <5 mins. The girls at the reception were friendly. We had no issues with only being able to access the room after 2pm. The room itself was cosy. This seems to be one of the only rooms with a king bed and private toilet - it’s called Lucy’s room. However, it was really dusty - see the dust we cleaned off the window ledge. I am allergic to dust, so I had to wipe it down myself.. There is a pub nearby so music can be heard all the way till 3/4am on Saturday night, so not recommended if you are a light sleeper. We had a quieter night on Sunday though! If I could do it again, I would have topped up the $50-$60 to book Crowne Plaza, which was also in an equally prime spot.
The location is great — it's right in town, with everything within walking distance. All the tour pick-up points are just across the street, which is super convenient.
The only downside is the room layout: you have to walk through the bathroom area before reaching the sleeping area, which feels a bit oddly designed.
The location is very good, it is very convenient to go anywhere, the whole city is within walking distance, but the house is average, there is a road under construction in front of the door, it is not easy to walk, the room is so small that it is difficult to open a large box, the sound insulation is 0, I feel like my floor is going to collapse when going up and down the stairs, the toilet and bathroom are shared, the service attitude is still very good, the people are very polite, gentle and enthusiastic. In conclusion, it is recommended for the convenience of the location, but it is definitely not for accommodation. I, who did not wake up in a magnitude 6 earthquake and a magnitude 8 typhoon, could only fall asleep in his house with earplugs.
Going out from the side door is the downtown area of Queenstown, which is very convenient. And the location is at the entrance to Queenstown, so you don't have to go through the urban traffic jam to go to the airport or Arrow town. There is nothing to say about the location.
The disadvantage is that there are kitchen and tableware but no pepper, salt and salad oil. I asked the counter and the reply was to go to the supermarket to buy it by myself. Also the oven in the room was malfunctioning and couldn't be used.
The service attitude is good. It was very hot on the day we arrived, but the hotels and apartments in Queenstown have no air-conditioning, only electric fans (super noisy), and there is only one, so I asked by phone to borrow another fan, and I was very polite. Look inside the counter (the counter is closed).
Considering the overall location and cp value is very good, but it would be better if the equipment can be strengthened.
The staff was very friendly and the price was reasonable but the room I got was right across the bar and people partied til 3 am when it’s Friday or weekends… impossible to fall asleep. I think I won’t stay here for sure next time ;(
Especially beautiful boutique hotel, the breakfast room is decorated with taste, and the order is delicious. The tableware is exquisite. Host helps to book a restaurant, about car travel, really impeccable. Because the hotel is on a hillside, drinking a welcome drink in the yard can overlook the lake view, what is the bartender and the guests have a pleasant discussion to decide! The most recommended hotel in Queenstown! Personally feel that it is not suitable for children, too quiet environment.
