Scenic Suites Queenstown

The hotel shares a reception and restaurant with the Heartland Hotel. We arrived a little early and had to wait until after 2pm to check in. The waiter was very enthusiastic and asked us to park the car temporarily in a parking space in front of the reception, and then we went out shopping. The hotel is halfway up the mountain, about 5 minutes walk from the center of Queenstown and less than 10 minutes walk from the cable car entrance. It is very convenient and quiet. We booked a one-bedroom lake view suite. The room is comfortable and spacious. As soon as we entered the door, we saw Lake Whakatipu opposite the living room and the mountain next to it. Our first reaction was that it was so beautiful! During the day, especially in the morning, sitting at the dining table, looking at the beautiful scenery, eating breakfast and drinking coffee, we sighed that life should be like this... Next to the dining table is the bedroom balcony, with tables and chairs, and you can watch the stars at night. The garage is in the basement, with about 20 seats. If you come late, there will be no vacancies. You need to swipe the room card to enter, which is free. We are very lucky and have parking spaces these days. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen utensils are all available, but it is not suitable for making Chinese food. It is okay to make some simple meals and Western food. The washing machine and dryer are also in the kitchen part, but they are quite old. There is a bathtub in the bathroom, the shower room has strong water pressure, and the shower head has a lot of water, which is comfortable to use. The bed is very soft and not suitable for me. The room is cleaned every day. I have to remind you that the tableware seems not very clean. If you want to cook, it is best to wash it first. In general, this hotel is very cost-effective. If you don't mind climbing a small slope, it is still good to live here.

I live on the first floor, because it is close to the lake, the doors and furniture of the rooms on the first floor are moldy, and the facilities are a bit old. If you value a clean and refreshing environment, avoid choosing this place.
