Facilities: Kitchen with pots, bowls and spoons but no knives, luckily I brought my own

Old hotel, somewhat renovated.
The staff was super friendly, they let me check in early after arriving from an exhausting flight. The breakfast is a 10! It is spectacular and very complete and varied. The hotel is very close to the center. I just want to point out that it is a hotel with high prices like all those in this town. I recommend it!

The service is OK. 24-hour service is rare in New Zealand. But the air conditioning is too dry. When booking the room, I added the price to ask for a sea view room, but it turned out to be a room on the second floor underground. The service staff said that the actual room may not be the same as the picture. It was cold at night. I asked for an extra blanket, but when they gave it to me, there was one less blanket and they said that they only had so many.
