Location is great, short walk to town. Most of the staff were friendly except a few - one particular guy at the concierge was extremely rude, but overall we had a good stay.

The hotel is in a great location: right by the lake, you can see the lake when you look up at the restaurant for a buffet in the morning; it is also a 5-minute walk from the supermarket and restaurant; it is in the downtown area but there is no traffic noise, and it is very quiet to sleep at night. The hotel facilities are also good, there is a self-service laundry room (coins are inserted, you can change at the front desk, and a tub of powder is 14 New Zealand dollars for washing and drying), and a gym (but why do you still work out in the hotel when you are in Queenstown, there are sports activities everywhere outside to experience). Ctrip has a package with breakfast, free for children, which is quite friendly. Except for being a little expensive, there are no disadvantages, highly recommended.
