The hotel is in a good location and medium-sized. It is in the center of Queenstown. It is very convenient to go out for dinner, shopping and taking the bus. However, the facilities may be a little problematic. The air conditioning in our room was not hot enough. No matter how we adjusted it, the room was very cold.

The room has a great lake view and is close to Lake Wakatipu. It was raining most of the time when I went there, so I didn't use the balcony much. The bed was very soft. The beds here may be common. If you are not used to it, your back will ache. The breakfast and dinner were normal, nothing amazing. Because I am lactose intolerant and don't eat cheese, the dinner was not very friendly. When I checked in, the restaurant was holding a meeting, so there were a lot of people, but the service at the front desk and restaurant was very good. To be honest, Wanaka and Wanaka Tree are average. It's better to go to Tekapo.
