I have visited this establishment a few times and it has always been excellent.but always in the restaurant. This time we decided to try the Antico Cafe Bar . Busy place . Our small table was pretty cramped but great view by the window . There were lots of bothersome flies due to the front of the bar being open . The Guinness 0% was not the usual one found in pubs but the ringpull version sold in supermarkets. Was warm and more than £2 more expensive than my local golf club The chips/French fries were salted to such an extent as to be inedible On the + side the view of the Forth Railbridge is magnificent The Natchos were excellent and the burgers were great Overall price is pretty much what you might expect

The food was also a standout, and we enjoyed the drinks. However, we did experience a couple of inconveniences that slightly detracted from the overall experience. One minor issue was the absence of a toilet door in the room. More significantly, we were surprised and inconvenienced when we were told we couldn't sign our dinner bill to the room, despite having done so earlier in the day with the same staff and possessing our room key. Having to return to our room to retrieve the card was quite inconvenient, especially since this policy wasn't communicated to us upon arrival. Overall, while the room and dining were excellent, a few improvements in service and communication could elevate the guest experience."

Waited an hour for food to arrive at the table. Staff members had apologised for the issues that were causing the delay. When the food arrived it was not as expected. Really disappointed because we have eaten here before. There was a wedding ongoing - was that causing the kitchen a priblenm - who knows?

Mum and I have lived in the Netherlands for over 50 years but are born and bred in Edinburgh. We wanted to come home for a short visit with the little Family we have left so we booked this hotel and what a wonderful stay it was! We had a lovely double room with view over the Bridges the room was fantastic with great matrasses we slept really great with the sound of the sea our ears, bathroom with big thick towels and the shower had such power it was like having a massage. Food fantastic and after a meal a walk on the lovely pebble beach, ah what a great time we had also ofcourse a big Thanks to all the lovely people who work there and made our stay so nice and welcomming. If I could give more stars than 4 it would be a great big 10 plus, and we will definitely be coming back!!

La habitación es espectacular. Y eso que sólo daba a la calle de entrada, porque las de atrás tienen vistas al puente. Todo perfecto, acogedor, maravilloso. El baño de 10, imposible encontrarle una pega. Lo único que por desgracia falla es... la cama. Demasiado blanda... Una pena, porque si no hubiera sido la mejor habitación de hotel en la que hemos estado.

Lovely Hotel
