Had Sunday lunch which was superb. Prawn cocktails for starters. Large choice of meats. We had Roast Lamb was very tender and tasty, more vegetables than you can imagine. Roast spuds and parsnips, caulicheese, peas, carrots, runner beans,leeks, yorkshires. Was so much that we couldn't manage a desert. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

This is an old-fashioned tavern with an inn. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, as were the local patrons. The included breakfast consisted of fresh fruits, cured meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, toast, juice, milk, etc.
We ate dinner at their restaurant the night we arrived and it was tasty traditional English food. I had a very nice fish and chips while my wife had a delicious meat pie.
The beds were a bit soft for my liking, but I slept comfortably. I could do without the green nightlight.
The property is located next to a cottage lined path leading to a quaint 13th centuty church. We opened the window for a better view and some fresh air.
I'd recommend staying here.

A very special historic pub bed & breakfast in the perfect location to visit the Haynes Museum and the Royal Navy Air Arm Fleet Museum. Both exceptional museums.

Afraid it gets a bit of a knock as I was due to arrive on Tuesday and got a call the day before(too late to cancel without cost) to tell me there was no kitchen available for meals 0n Mon/Tue and no hot breakfast and given the amount of options in Queen Camel this was a bit naughty. Also there was some kind of light in the bedroom which we couldn't dim or turn off (fire safety presumably) but it lit up whole room at night. Also no heating between about nine at night and nine in the morning and it was chilly when we visited. We did have a meal on wednesday evening and it was very good. The staff are very friendly and there is a good selection of beers.

A proper local, great beer and comfort food and friendly staff. Room basic but real value for money. Excellent continental breakfast.
