BreakFree Queanbeyan

Although it looks a little bit old, it’s still a good hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, daily housekeeping, lovely garden and swimming pool. Just next to the Queanbeyan CBD.

I had a four week stay. From the check in to check out this was a bad experience. A room with a door draft with cigarette smoke and exhaust fumes wafting in, blinds that were rolled up at the sides so you had no privacy, mould on the bedroom window and blind, to dirty vents in the bathroom, a leaking fridge, mattress basses that were falling apart, heaters that didn't work (because the filters had no maintenance and years of dust build up), no spare blankets to keep warm when the heaters didn't work, maintenance personnel coming into the room during my booking to perform works I knew nothing about........just an awful experience. This should not be a an Accor hotel.

Booked in knowing that we were going to arrive late, so looking for somewhere that had late opening hours for reception - it closed 2 hours earlier than advertised ! We were contacted by the hotel and organised after hours check-in, however there was no milk left for tea/coffee, the tv was unable to be changed from the channel it was on, and I’m still undecided as to whether the air con was working properly…all things that could have been remedied if reception was open as advertised ! Otherwise it was clean and comfortable and car parking was available right outside the door of your room
