I don't recommend the hotel, the swimming pools both are dirty lots of insects in the water, the jacuzzi cold water n dirty too. One can hear lots of noises at night if you are lucky you won't get those rooms it looks like mauritians who get those noisy room as at night you can hear the noise of air con or pump water machine. If you take some dried grapes after breakfast to eat in the terrace you will be told not to take where as I have seen other guests took plate of food. They don't give tea or coffee in the bedrooms but just kettle n cups. The only good thing is the room is clean but they won't clean it everyday. They put very few food for breakfast one can count 15 pieces on the plate and when finished they will replenished it. I didn't feel comfortable during my stay as while I eat my breakfast I can feel them monitoring me. The pictures of the pools have deceived me and my family. More customer service are needed in this place too. The only person who helped me was sanjeev for lifting my luggage when I came to the rooms. I did ask if they serve food at night they said no but I saw guests eating at night and every night I have to take my parents to eat in restaurants which is far from the beach. They do give shuttle car but on some hours and I had to take taxi sometimes.

The hotel is not too far from the seaside and it takes half an hour to walk. The price is very reasonable, so this location is ok. Other conveniences are also very good, the only bad thing is that eating is not very convenient. The hotel kitchen is very simple and nothing to eat.

I had a lovely stay at the Veranda Tamarin - the resort, decor, facilities and layout exceeded my expectations. The all inclusive package was very good value for money although it would have been better if there was a wrist band which signified to staff that guests were all inclusive so that we didn't have to continually sign for every drink. At weekends the music and partying from the beach was loud as the property is very nearby and obviously the resort can't control the volume of this however the bar music was also loud and could maybe have stopped at midnight rather than 2am. The restaurant and bar staff were all very friendly and helpful. On the all inclusive package you were able to eat with a subsidy in the a la carte restaurant which was good and you also got money off trips booked through the hotel which was also good value. The spa treatment (massage) I had was disappointing and also overpriced in my view.

We have just returned from an 11 night stay at the Maradiva. The quality of food, cleanliness of the accommodation and beautiful gardens was exceptional. However, it is the welcome and friendly service you receive from Maradiva that makes it so special. Always greeted by your name, everyone we met always strived to make our stay as perfect as it could be. We would like to express our gratitude to all the staff at Maradiva who are a credit to the hotel. Special mention to the butler staff (Ash, Aki and Dinesh) who were always on hand to help with restaurant bookings and organising trips and activities. Also, to Favour and Joeanne in housekeeping who made sure our accommodation was spotless and cleaned every day. Sam and Oliver at the boathouse for a magical dolphin trip! Hisha at breakfast who always served us with a smile and not forgetting Veen and the beach team for their attentiveness. Thanks also to Dinesh and his team at the beach grill! Finally, thanks to the management team (especially Bertrand and Vincent) who took the time to chat with us at various times throughout our stay, which, to us just highlights how the hotel endeavours to achieve that personal touch. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in paradise, next to a fabulous beach with 5-star service, food and amenities, then the Maradiva pretty much fits the bill. It will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

The location of the hotel is average, although there is no beach at the beach, the only thing is very secluded. The yard where the hotel is located is very large and there are many houses for short and medium term rental. Hotel facilities are relatively old, but it is a bit special, the hotel lobby is not big, the bird cage inside is feeding a few birds. The service is OK. If you have dinner, there are two restaurants, one bar to choose from, and one that is open to Asian restaurants opened by Malaysians. The price of the local restaurant below is acceptable. The hotel's WIFI is very poor and often does not receive signals in the rooms.

Hi Super nice hotel with modern infrastructures and Excellent service by hotel employees, be it front office and f&b staff in general. The reception and restaurant staff were welcoming. Special thanks to hardworking staff. My heart goes to Rosha from pool bar for her dedication and service oriented approach. Overall, fantastic hotel, great service and excellent environment.

Overall, it is a very good hotel. The suite has 2 single beds and 1 double bed. It is no problem for a family of four, and there is no additional charge for 2 children under 16 years old in this room type, including breakfast, but breakfast is not included. It's too suitable for East Asian tastes. Dinner is a little better, just a little bit. We lost a child's schoolbag at the airport in Mauritius, and there were valuables inside. We thought we couldn't find it, but the Intercontinental front desk guy helped us contact the airport police station, and the schoolbag was recovered, which was very NICE. It was a bit unpleasant to check out later. More than a thousand euros were deducted from me. After negotiation, it was refunded to my account after returning to China. Overall, it was perfect.
