We only had breakfast which was ok. The disappointing thing was bed bugs yuk! The hotel immediately transferred us to another room but it was very unpleasant. 😂

Not a very friendly hotel. The machine for swiping the ID card at check-in was broken, and the receptionist handwritten the record. The attitude is relatively indifferent. No toiletries, I bring my own, is it environmentally friendly? But I forgot to bring slippers, so I asked the hotel for help. As a result, I was told that there are no slippers in this store. I asked: So do I have to go barefoot after the shower? Answer: Yes. No sorry, no solution given for the problem. I went out and asked a few supermarkets, and finally bought a pair of plastic slippers for 6.5 Euros in a grocery store opened by a Chinese. Hotel facilities are outdated. Breakfast options are limited and not tasty. Mainly good location. I originally wanted to book the small sailing boats at the Crown next door or the port, but they are closed until February. Just his business. Although this season is the off-season, there are a lot of British people who come to play golf. So although the service is poor in all aspects, it is still full.

Staff Helpful & friendly Rooms alittle small but clean Towels worn and fading in bathroom need replacing. Breakfast very basic choice the same every morning no omelette cooking station like most hotels in the area. Noisey Hotel if your not a golfer.

Hotel is ideal location. Breakfast was ok - everything you can get for a breakfast, so had plenty choice. Bed was really comfortable. Air-con not that great in room, but we managed. I read previous reviews about 'the golfers' . Yes i would agree its a golfer's hotel, but to be fair, they were just groups of men enjoying themselves and did not bother anyone else. Was good to hear the banter. Would i stay here again - yes i would. nice hotel.

Just back from a holiday. Used to stay in Portobello so this was a change. Lovely clean hotel .I found the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good and plentiful. Only problem was we brought plastic wine glasses for the balcony and they were accidentally removed by the cleaners . Not exactly a huge issue. Great location if sometimes a bit rowdy with drunk golfers.

Nice hotel second time to stay - the staff are very nice and really helpful - good selection for breakfast- It is extremely noisy by the pool between the golfing groups shouting at the pool bar and the really loud thump thump of the music by the pool. The music is more suited to much younger people , of which there were very few. found the golfing groups in general to very loud and quite unaware of how loud they were. we opted to spend our time at. the beach to get away from the noise. I agree with previous comments about the towels in the room - very grey and flat could do with renewing. Room was nice though with exceptionally fluffy pillows.

The service was good and staff were friendly. The bedrooms are slightly dated but nothing to complain about. The bed was extremely comfortable. Good spa and gym facilities and restaurant food lovely . Had the mushroom risotto. Good stay, would recommend it.
