For a 3 star hotel this is excellent. We had to check out of our villa at 10am - but with a late evening flight home we needed somewhere to dump our cases and enjoy a pool somewhere for the day. We booked this (had to phone due to strange check in/out that we needed) we booked the room from 10am-7pm , obviously we had to be charged for the full day (80 euros) what a bargain! We weren't expecting much but we are pleasantly surprised (writing this sat by the peaceful pool ). Room is large and very clean - can't vouch for.comfort of bed as we won't be sleeping in them). This would make a great, value for money, base and you wouldn't be disappointed with pool and bar - we were feeling a bit deflated coming from a beautiful villa with private pool to a small hotel - but we love it! Staff are very helpful and friendly. If your looking for a good value hotel - this is it!

The service at this hotel is fantastic. Animators, reception staff, restaurant staff, bar staff and cleaning service are smiling, friendly, helpful and caring people. The animation guy always greeted us nicely (also in Polish), which was lovely. We thank you very much for this and send you warm regards. The waiters and waitresses also always greeted us friendly and asked if we were okay. You can see that the hotel employees are very nice. That's why we felt at home there. We spent a wonderful 2 weeks and we already miss it, even though we just got back. The hotel is located in a beautiful, romantic area, right next to the Atlantic Ocean. We highly recommend staying here. Portugal is a wonderful country with wonderful people. Thank you for everything, we send greetings from Poland and wish you all the best!

Before heading out to Portugal I was in regular contact with the hotel and they we're very prompt and helpful with my queries. They also organised transport from the airport which was €45 for the two of us, however, on the return journey, it was €55 as it was before 8am - something we were not advised if up front. (We later learned that you could organise an Uber or transport direct from the airport for around €25-€30, so it pays to do more research beforehand). Arrived at the hotel to be greeted by lovely, courteous staff and was told we had been given a room upgrade (we had booked a 2 bed apartment with balcony and this was upgraded to one of their 2 bed terraced apartments) - WOW! I shed a tear when we found the terrace!  The hotel also accommodated our request to be away from nightly entertainment noise - so grateful for that! The apartment was huge, clean and was very well kitted out - full kitchen, crockery, cutlerty, cooking equipment, fridge with mini freezer, hob, microwave, kettle etc, lovely lounge/diner area and two huge bedrooms, one with ensuite, and another bathroom. The usual liquid soap, shampoo/ bodywash and  conditioner all supplied by the hotel. There are 4 USB ports in each bedroom and also a 2 x 3 pin plug sockets. The hotel is situated on a busy road, and depending on where your room is, this may be an issue. Soundproofing in the apartment itself is very good i.e. I couldn't hear my husband's snoring, but even with patio doors/windows shut, traffic and outside noise is very evident (even though they're double glazed).   I found the mattress very hard, and after chasing Reception twice, a soft mattress topper was provided, which helped a lot. I had an issue with a loose toilet seat and this was promptly sorted by maintenance. Housekeeping - towels and bed linen changed every 3 days.  Bottle of water supplied every day - they will provide more if required.  We booked all inclusive and found, like a lot of previous reviews, the food to be disappointing.  It was lukewarm and sometimes very dried out.  There wasn't a huge selection of salads, desserts or mains (2 different meats, 2 fish, rice, a pasta dish, some potatoes, kids section with fish fingers, nuggets, chips etc and a vegan section with 4 dishes) and as a last resort, you could have pizza if nothing took your fancy, which happened on several occasions. Soups were mostly fish or bean/barley based but there was a nice tomato and a carrot/pumpkin soup which was nice. Desserts were never named, and a lot of the cakes contained nuts so for those with allergens, I would recommend you ask the kitchen staff as to what's in the desserts before you tuck in. There was always fresh fruit and cheese and biscuits too (again, this never varied). There was a small selection of bread and rolls, which remained the same choice throughout breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are relatively few buses in the Albufeira area, so it is still suitable for self-driving. The hotel has free parking, and the receptionist at the front desk is very enthusiastic and meticulous, introducing the surrounding attractions in detail. The size of the room is suitable, but the ventilation system is not very good and the room feels damp. The breakfast is very good, including fruit cake, smooth eggs, yogurt, etc., very rich.

Checked in to ria park as a last minute booking following a nightmare end of our holiday (in a local apartment) where my youngest son and I were unable to go home as planned with the rest of our family. We had stayed a night before we arrived at Ria park in another local 5 star hotel and had a terrible experience there. From the moment we walked in to the ria park we were made to feel so safe and welcome. The room we were given was perfect, we ordered room service and it was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is so clean. We received a lovely welcome tray with some treats for my son and fresh fruit and waters. The air con was perfect, great tea and coffee facilities. Maid service so efficient. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool but was clean and lovely, lots of loungers available. We were able to get a late check out which I was extremely grateful for after a difficult week and an evening flight. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of offer and we ate lunch at the pool bar. Brilliant selection, I was particularly impressed as I was able to get a vegetarian soja bolognaise. It’s in a great location for lovely restaurants and days out. I’m so pleased we stumbled across this hotel and will be booking to stay here next year. A special mention to Marta on reception. The was just the most kind and lovely person. So helpful. Thank you!

The hotel is situated a short walk from the centre of Loule. It is a nice, clean hotel with lovely decor and friendly staff. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a wide variety of choice and was tasty. The only real drawback is the view from our room was uninspiring. Overall, I would definitely stay again and would recommend it.

We had a decent holiday but our accommodation could not be described as 4 star.We were allocated 036 supposedly a superior apartment, we requested overlooking the pool and away from the road but that didn't happen.The apartment must be privately owned and rented out as most of the storage cupboards were locked.The apartment was in poor condition, door handles coming off,smoke alarm broken off,no cushions very basic and spartan.Wi fi non existant. Cleaning didn't happen every two days as stated in the info leaflet. We have been to Clube Albufeira several times but the service has deteriorated. No shuttle bus,no help with luggage and it is very hilly,not very user friendly. We have had some good holidays here but we won't be going again.aIts a shame .

It’s a good hotel near everything. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you can find a good deal, it’s definitely recommended. Just the bathroom leaks a lot when showering, which can be annoying if you’re staying many nights.
