Before coming to Qionghai, I heard from a friend that there was a particularly good B&B on the banks of the Wanquan River. I decided to give it a try. My family of three stayed in a family-friendly room. The entrance wasn't too noticeable, and there were plenty of flowers and plants. Entering Datang was a breathtaking sight, with a light, fresh fragrance. The receptionist was very polite. We asked about our needs, and she arranged a family-friendly room. She told us we could do laundry and cook on the terrace. The best time to watch the sunset was between 5:30 PM, and they even offered complimentary coffee. I carefully examined the decor and it reminded me of experiences back home. It felt like a familiar feeling. No wonder people say it's so good, and I certainly felt it. It's something that makes me happy. I hope other hotels are similar, a little more luxurious and perhaps with a little more stuff, but B&Bs can make you feel nostalgic and warm. Traveling away from home, especially with children, I think this place is worth a visit. It's worth recommending.
