Great location and great rooms including the fitness center. However, the staff were terrible. On the first day they gave us a room which had dirty tissue paper at the toilet area still there. After complaining they changed our room and while one of us were in the shower they mistanenly gave our room key to another guest who then tried to enter our room. They compensated us with free breakfast but such an error was not expected at a Marriott hotel in the first place. Very disappointing. It also felt like the staff didn't really care the whole time with a very emotionless style of talking. Unfortunate.

Our stay at this beachfront hotel was wonderful. The clean room and stunning ocean views made for a relaxing retreat. Watching the sunrise and strolling along the beach added to the charm. The hot springs in our room were a unique and enjoyable feature.The staff was friendly and helpful, enhancing our experience. The dinner buffet, priced at 169 RMB, offered a fantastic variety of seafood and other dishes, making it a must-try. Overall, we were highly satisfied with our stay and recommend this hotel for its excellent location and amenities.

The room was clean and had a nice view of the ocean. The location is excellent if you're looking for a beach holiday. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful.

J had a lovely stay at the Argyle resort and the fact that you just need to cross the parking lot to get to the Dongshan Bathing Spot is definitely amazing! There are some tourist attractions close by, but very far from historical sites. The room was ok, but it looked different from the pictures. Probably a bit of mold on the wall or water damage, dirty windows, and a piece of the wardrobe door was broken. Not what I would expect at a resort. The breakfast had so many options, but very few western choices, limited to sliced bread, butter and jam, yogurt, fruits and coffee. The coffee machine always had an issue, but the staff quickly came to fix it. During my stay there, everyday someone complained about the coffee maker. One of the things that I found really nice is that every day they would bring or leave fruit in my room. But on the last day, I was sleeping, and someone came in. She did apologize, but it was weird having someone in your room while you’re there. In terms of amenities, they have everything really! From shower cap to razors. And the blow dryer was really good! Because it was golden week, the staff was overwhelmed with work (lots of guests and weddings) and they didn’t talk about the facilities - gym, pool, hot springs.

I came to Qinhuangdao for a trip and chose a relatively good B&B. The owner was very meticulous. He placed a small box in the living room with a lighter, which was really helpful for friends who smoked and forgot to bring it. There was also a small box in the bathroom. Paper towels, toiletries, shampoo, washing powder, hand soap, soap, etc. Don’t worry if your clothes get dirty, you can just use the washing machine. It’s much more convenient than staying in a hotel. There are pots and pans in the kitchen and a gas stove, so you can cook in a B&B. From now on, I think it’s good to stay in a B&B. It’s also good to have a sofa in the living room to play cards and so on. If it’s a family trip, I think staying in a B&B is the best choice. After all, if there are a lot of people, staying in a hotel is not only expensive but also expensive. Convenient. The store I chose is very close to the seaside. The owner is also very enthusiastic and the service is very considerate.

Really enjoyed my stay at this place! Had a free room upgrade to Superior Room and wow it is massive! The hotel staff were all do polite and there is a laundry room & gym, which quite meets my needs. The gym might be a bit shody, but it's functioning.
