I've never been so underwhelmed by a holiday and resort. We have been to Egypt many times (our second time in Sharm). I read, re-read and read again all of the reviews on here and other forums, who are writing them? This is no way a 5 star resort (I understand our idea of 5 star isn't the same as other countries), but oh my - this is 100% more a 2 to 3 star. We were greeted after a long journey to no refreshments, we were starving, all restaurants close after dinner - no food available unless you pay for room service? The reception staff promised us food to our room (FOC) due to the lateness of our arrival, after hours of waiting, we gave in a went to sleep. Our first night late night/early morning wasn't caused I may add by fun and excitement, much the contrary - our room of which we paid an extra £100+ for to have a sea view was appalling, run down, broken blinds, stained curtains and nets (there are photographs), dirty bed - we did get changed eventually), just generally dirty throughout room and bathroom! Positive about the room, it had two large bottles of free water. My husband, bless him went to see reception the next day of where we were greeted and looked after by Omnia, she did look after us and she did put us in a Premium room, yes updated (still not 5*) but we were very pleased to have moved from the other room, a shame as the outlook at room one was superb (another slight positive). FOOD - what food? basic, flavourless, lack of choice.... worst I've ever eaten... one main buffet area to cater for all guests, food of which wasn't to cater for all guests. I'd rather eat the local cuisine as we are in Egypt, but alas, this wasn't the case either. The catering was definitely for specific nations - we ate ended up eating out more to avoid the rude customers who have no idea of etiquette/morals - felt for the staff looking after them as they'd pile up their plates and then waste so much food? Not necessary! Where were the al a carte restaurants promised in reviews/holiday websites? Where were the bars? DRINK - yes, on a holiday, some have this, as part of their well deserved relaxation, the selection was poor, all spirits tasted the same, beer gassy and wine only served in the buffet or foyer? We sat at the pool bar, and within 5 minutes at least 3 couples, including us, asked for red wine and were told no! The answer was, if you want wine, you have to go to top bar (a 10 to 15 min walk away)... it came out of a large box and was actually stored at the pool bar, why couldn't it be served there? If we pay more because it's Christmas/New Year, we expect ALL facilities to be there - if you close facilities, drop the price accordingly... this has been fed back to our tour operator. Another bad point our tour operator failed to mention upon booking or anytime during our paying for the holiday - the main foyet/reception is undergoing a major refurb, it doesn't cause any issues parse but it does take away areas of comfort, especially at

First of all, they make you wait until 2 pm. Since everyone gathers to check in at 14:00, there is chaos. No one speaks English at the reception, you have difficulty communicating. When you come to the hotel, it is clean enough, you can find any variety you want, there was food suitable for every culture. The sea was full of colorful fish and coral. It was a very different experience. The pool was big enough. The rooms were cooled by 2-story air conditioners. As for alcohol, the local drinks are not very good, you can drink draft beer. It is enough if you get full board. In general, it was a pleasant hotel.

It feels like a vacation here. The snorkeling spot on the hotel beach has more fish than the one at sea, the water is very clean, and there are always vacancies for beach umbrellas every time I go there. The only downside is that there are too many foreign tour groups, and the restaurant is like a food market at mealtime, but the taste is good

The hotel is very cost-effective. The price of more than 300 yuan includes three meals, swimming pool and small water park. It is very friendly to friends who don't have a very high budget. But the price determines the quality. The facilities in the room are relatively old. Everyone should have psychological expectations and look at it objectively.
The service attitude of the hotel staff is very nice, recommended

I fell in love with this place from the first moment I entered the store. The blue sea is right in front of me. It's super safe to stay in. The hotel can only be used by adults, and there is no noise from children. The restaurant and swimming pool are very suitable for a quiet vacation. The sea view room is very beautiful , Snorkeling is also very convenient, the hotel's luggage service is very good, when we moved to the next hotel, we also provided a paid car delivery service, the price is reasonable and the service is super good, will come again.

My other half and I stayed here for 2 weeks in January 2024 and we bloth had a great time. Works were going on to the top swimming pool, but they didn't affect our use or enjoyment of the hotel. It should look great when it's finished. My first mention is Ahmed the chef in the main restaurant. He was fantastic. I am a vegetarian who doesn't eat tomato. On many nights Ahmed would cook me a special pasta with all the things I love in it. There were also many nights when I could easily eat off the the buffet. If there was anything I wanted, I just had to ask. Ahmed also cooked up some wonderful meals for my boyfriend. I loved the chocolate fountain and there was always a supply of lovely strawberries and bananas to dip in it. My next mention is to another Ahmed who served in the restaurant. A very lovely man who helped to make our holiday special and was always on hand to help with anything. We rarely had to ask for another drink. The swimming pool attendants were also always willing to help with anything, and the staff behind the downstairs bar were always friendly and helpful. We hardly used the upstairs bar. There was always nightly entertainment, almost all of which was good/excellent. One night was not the usual standard, but it gave us a good laugh. Our room was a good standard and was always kept clean and well stocked. There are lots of steps, which is not surprising when a hotel is built into a cliff, but there was a regular cart going around the resort transporting people and you could phone for one as well. I am a diver and spent many days diving with Dive Inn. The reef just off the beach is fantastic with many different types of fish. The dive staff were wonderful and the diving was excellent. I will review them separately. We will definitely go back, and we would say that whilst the resort was excellent, it really was the people who work there who made it such a great holiday.

Outstanding
AAbdoswissotel is a very nice and enjoyable resort to stay in the middle level. The resort offers all-inclusive services including meals, parties and internal transfers throughout the day (semi-regular). There is an activity for children suitable for all ages. There are indoor swimming pools for all activities and also water games of a reasonable level that need maintenance and development. There is a means of transportation to the resort's private beach and also barbecue parties near the sea and internal parties daily. The quality of the food is high and the service is very high. The reception workers are respectful and very friendly. The quality of the rooms is not befitting the resort and needs to be developed significantly. The room services are good and the workers are good. There is a negative point and unfortunately it is repeated and I hope it will be solved, which is the delay of the golf cart for internal transfers for long periods even by calling the reception several times. I hope in particular that it will be solved because it is very important in emergency cases and for people with chronic diseases and the elderly. Thank you for your services
GGuest UserIt is a very nice resort, everything looks great. The appartments are very clean. There are so many different activities you can do for example volleyball or you can go to the gym. There is a very nice spa area with massages. The food could be better though, or maybe I just have high standards. The animation team is the best they show you everything you can do there and they always help you. Especially Abram was a really good guy he came to the partys with us and we had so much fun together. So if you want to go to a party you dont have to worry about anything the animation team takes care of everything like the taxi etc. I had a really good time there and I would recommend it. Dominik
ZZakaria AlmusaileemThe hotel is perfect services foods and atmosphere
The only problem is it take time in checkin no early checkin available also the checkout at 12:00 but the lunch at 13:00 which means you need to stay at the lobby for 1 hour
AAnonymous UserReceptionist was very welcoming and helpful. All staff want the please very willing to assist and want guests to be happy.
Hot Food could be hotter, and quite repetitive. no choice of cereals for breakfast, geared for the Egyptian taste.
Staff taking food from the breakfast buffet in front of guests, (using their hands) not using utensils provided. Even cleaning staff, to Supervisor levels including some chefs.
Was a theme hotel previously so still remnants of that, but have been told the new administration will be changing many things and updating the hotel.
It is a lovely sized hotel just far enough out of Naaama Bay that it is quiet, but close enough to walk within 30 minutes.
The position is under the inbound flight path, which on certain days can be a little loud.
The staff make the hotel, nearly all of them always smiling and likes to see you.
GGuest UserA very good hotel. The promotional pictures are seriously inconsistent with the actual situation. It is recommended that the business re-shoot the promotional pictures. The actual decoration is very modern and new. There are also several restaurants (two of which are Chinese restaurants. The taste is average and limited. There are not many people and reservations are required. Haha) Overall, it is still very good! A large resort worth staying in! !
WWenmenglThe room is clean and quite large. From the balcony door, you can go uphill to the swimming pool No. 5. The main restaurant is in the beach wing. It takes about seven or eight minutes to walk there. You can also call for a shuttle bus to pick you up.
JJudyThe room environment is very good, the breakfast and lunch are very average, the main reason is that there are too many people, and you have to queue up to eat
The italian restaurant dinner reservation was perfect and delicious
Tucao: The contact information of the hotel is simply a decoration. I sent an email to book a pick-up ten days before the trip. Sharm El Sheikh has no rental, so I can only rely on the hotel to book a car. After sending more than a dozen emails, the first reply I received It turned out that they transferred it to their colleagues, and it was passed around, but no one resolved it. I had no choice but to ask Ctrip for help, but the dramatic result was that Ctrip couldn't even contact the hotel?
I was convinced, thinking that I had to call this hotel as soon as I arrived in Egypt. When I arrived in Cairo, I used an Egyptian card to call the hotel, but no one answered, or it was a wrong call. I was very speechless. I traveled for fifteen days. This is the first time the country has encountered such a situation, and finally received an email confirmation. Then we arrived at Sharm El Sheikh Airport. We couldn’t see the driver who came to pick us up. We waited for 20 minutes. We couldn’t contact the hotel. We had to wait at the airport, speechless.
Just to be clear this holiday was booked for me by someone else I hadn’t seen the pictures only that I was told it was a 4* hotel in Sharm el Sheikh SOUNDS GOOD RIGHT 😂😂😂 LITTLE DID I KNOW. I was FUMING at the time but I can have a laugh about this now as: 1. It didn’t spoil my family’s whole holiday (just 1 day) as it was booked from inside Egypt 2. We went to a FANTASTIC hotel 24hrs later (15 minutes away in Shark Bay) My children are still revelling about it. Just annoyed ‘The Tivoli Mistake’ costed us a whole day. I don’t know where to start. Let’s start right at the beginning, it was through the coach window I first laid eyes on Tivoli and my heart sank. The place looks so run down I knew it was only going to get worse the closer I got. I just wanted the coach to take me away as I was taking my luggage off the coach I felt like I was being sentenced to prison. The girls they’ve hired to take pictures at the front of the hotel is definitely an attempt to distract from what lies ahead. (You have to check the pics of the girls advertising ‘themselves’ 😂). As trustworthy as my gut has been the dreadful feeling grew when I walked in the run down reception that felt more like an old people’s home than a vibrate hotel in Sharm el Sheikh. It was just BAD what made things worse was our rooms weren’t ready. We arrived on time (off peak- hotel was empty) and the rooms weren’t ready? They said we needed to wait 5 hours with very young children which were knackered from travelling. I was fuming at the person who booked it but they assumed it was 4* 😂 I WOULDNT EVEN GIVE IT 1 STAR I called up the booking company we used (internally in Egypt) and asked them to change the hotel but they said they had already paid for that day. So the plan was to stay for one day and change hotel 24hrs later THE WORST 24HRS OF MY LIFE… I DIDNT CARE HOW MUCH EXTRA IT WOULD COST I NEEDED TO GET OUT (I hadn’t even seen past the reception and this is how I felt) imagine when I saw the room and the food 🤢🤮 We booked it as ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ but it’s not, you have to pay for many things and the things that are inclusive I wouldn’t feed to an animal. The room was full of old furniture and the bed was rock hard. The toilet was leaning to one side. The cleaning staff were polite and almost embarrassed that’s where they work but they need to make a living. The restaurant staff, chefs, servers were apologetic and tried to help but they were a good few of them that were REALLY rude and ended up swearing at one of my family members and needed to be held back by other staff because they were offended we didn’t like the food??? That’s how they treat paying guests. We ended up eating feta cheese with hard stale bread (on chipped plates) until we were able to escape the very next morning. I was lucky in a way that the holiday was booked in Egypt but if I had been booked outside of Egypt then the holiday would’ve been paid for and I would’ve had to stay there until my sentence was up. I thi
YYoke Ping FrancesThis resort is not as big as some of those we drive past but it is cosy and the staff are very friendly. We booked half board. The breakfast and dinner variety are wide and the hotel vary some dishes on a daily basis. Food is okay. We had lunch at their seafood restaurant (a la carte) but we felt the food was not as good as those served in the common banquet hall for dinner. The massage was very good and price reasonable. The spa is not worth it as the facials we had were not the kind of facials we are used to. They were very basic and our faces were steamed for a good 15 mins! So hot and uncomfortable. Products used were claimed to be organic but we are not convinced what were used.
DDarwin XieI book this hotel for my boss. It is non refundable but I tried to modify the booking anyway. Because my boss changed his plan right after I booked the hotel. I book for 3 nights, but my boss stayed for 2 nights.
Trip officer has tried all possible ways to contact the hotel (emails and calls), but this hotel is so difficult to contact. Almost impossible.
When my boss was on the spot in the reception, the hotel reception said the modify is accepted and we only have to pay for 2 nights. But I was charged for 3 nights anyway.
