JAZ Mirabel Resort

Attention: It's called Jaz Mirabel Resort, but this consists of Park, Club and Beach. The price was the same whether we booked Club or Beach Standard Room, but with Standard Beach Room you are closer to the sea and can use the adults only area. If you pay the same amount, you don't get access to the adults only area at the Club and you have to walk at least 800 meters to the beach. I think that's a rip-off for the same price, especially since you can't find this out anywhere. In addition, the jetty for snorkeling was only open from 3 or 4 p.m. and closed again at 6 p.m. You book a beach holiday for snorkeling and can go snorkeling for exactly 2 hours a day on the hotel's own reef. Food: Varied, especially lots of desserts. We liked the BBQ area (fish or meat). Drinks took at least 15 minutes and were only served in small glasses with the meal, so we had to keep ordering again. We could sit outside, but the tables were never set and we had to find staff or cutlery first. Bar: The beach bar was a disaster, far too many people (from three hotels) for 1-3 people. No self-service soft drinks and the vending machine at the snack restaurant didn't work. If you go to the beach in the morning you don't even have water until 10:00. In the evening there was only the lobby bar, everything was overcrowded and there were long waits for drinks, even though the hotel was far from fully booked. Unimaginable when you consider that many more guests could come! Drinks, well, okay Snack restaurant: There was one on the beach and one on the opposite side. Both served exactly the same thing. And clearly only junk food (fried food and bread)! What is the logic of two identical snack bars next to each other with the same offer? Why not another grill restaurant or one international and one Egyptian / Arabic / North African? Junk food, no thanks! Room: Everything worked, cleaning was OK, nothing special. After 4 days we changed hotels because it was OK for a short stay but it would have been really boring if we had stayed longer, especially if you were planning on snorkeling and swimming!

The location of the hotel is good and the overall environment is okay. What needs improvement is that the hotel facilities are a bit outdated. The air conditioner doesn't work very well, some lamps are broken, the lights don't work, and slippers and drinking water are not provided. I hope this can be improved.

Abbiamo trascorso dei giorni meravigliosi! Accoglienza, pulizia, gentilezza, cibo "da tutto il mondo", per tutti i gusti... per chi non ama osare c'è sempre un'ottima pizza da potere gustare! Animazione gradevole e discreta allo stesso tempo, divertimento senza confusione! Una grandiosa e armoniosa varietà di piante e fiori che dà forma ad un grande spazio! La posizione delle camere è eccellente. Materassi e cuscini eccellenti: non abbiamo mai dormito così bene fuori casa! Ogni zona che si attraversi offre un servizio bar per quasi tutta la giornata, inoltre c'è un bar aperto h 24. Tanti giochi in spiaggia, tante piscine per diverse esigenze (per famiglie, per soli adulti, per bambini e per chi vuole giocare). In spiaggia ci si può rilassare e si può fare una stupenda passeggiata lungo il pontile che si affaccia sul Mar Rosso, da cui si possono ammirare i meravigliosi pesci della barriera corallina! Consigliatissimo!

Resort veramente ottimo in tutto, abbiamo passato un'ottima settimana tra piscine, barriera corallina ed escursioni. Alcuni dettagli, l'hotel è diviso in tre zone Beach (più vicina alla spiaggia) Club e Park (leggermente più distanti). Ogni zona ha i suoi ristoranti a buffet ma si può andare solo nel proprio, per quanto riguarda invece le zone comuni come bar, palchi, scivoli, spettacoli ecc ecc tutti possono andare dappertutto senza problemi. La spiaggia è grande e ottima per i bambini in quanto c'è la possibilità di andare in acqua almeno per i primi metri, dovrete però armarvi di pazienza per arrivare in fondo al pontile (800mt). Il cibo è mediamente buono, basta sapersi adattare (ovvio che non siete in Italia) ma sulla zono pranzo ci sono secondo me alcune cose da rivedere, i camerieri ti badano solo se lasciate loro un po di mancia (consigliatissima per vivere la vacanza con un po più di calma) e il bere dovrebbe essere messo a self service perchè a volte si rischia di aspettare un bicchiere d'acqua anche un quarto d'ora. Ottima l'animazione, mai invadente e ottimi gli spettacoli serali. Il personale parla poco l'italiano ma ci si fa capire in qualche maniera :-) Torneremo!
