Facilities & Cleanliness: The hotel is consistently described as spotless with well-maintained rooms, beautiful gardens, and pristine pools. The air conditioning is effective, and the grounds are immaculately cared for by friendly staff.

Wow, what an amazing hotel! First time visitors to Egypt we were a bit wary but the hotel is beautiful and the best I have ever stayed in. The grounds are extremely well kept, it's spotless and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. Especially the waiters who work hard to make sure you can relax without leaving your seat by the pool, on the beach and during the evening! The food is very good although it did get a bit repetitive as we were there for two weeks, but the quality and choice were very good. I have one teenager who is a very fussy eater and he always found plenty to eat every day. We stayed for two weeks with three teenage boys and there was always something during the day to keep them entertained. Snorkelling on the beach is amazing, especially if you swim out the the three buoys in the sea where there are small corals. We saw lionfish, hundreds of puffer fish, rays and all sorts of colourful fish. They also took advantage of the paddle boarding and kayaking on the beach often, which is all included. The only negatives I can say bout this hotel are; 1) the pestering - even with the red flags/strips around the beach and the pool we still got pestered in the first week by tours guides selling trips/experiences/massages/camel rides etc. This did get better in the second week as they grew to realise that they weren't going to get a sale. You also get pestered by the shop keepers. You have no choice but to walk through the parade of shops as you have to go that way to get to the entertainment and that also got annoying as some of them won't take "no" for an answer! 2) The entertainment. With the exception of the "Egyptian Night" which we all enjoyed, the entertainment was dire. The worst at any hotel I've ever stayed at. It was dancing practically every night, with the same group of dancers (who were very good) but it got boring and very repetitive. There were no singers. comedians etc as we've had at other hotels. I do understand that the hotel may struggle to get entertainment as it's miles from anywhere but it became a but difficult to entertain three teenagers on an evening. This wasn't a major issue for us though as we were so busy during the days that we tended to just have a drink in the bar after dinner and then have an early night. Also, if you book with Chill Tours (as we did for quad biking, which was amazing) be wary as they tend to try and overcharge. Nothing to do with the hotel but thought it was worth a mention as we probably paid over the odds for our quad biking excursion, good as it was. In all, this was a fantastic holiday and I would recommend the hotel to anyone. As long as the above negatives don't bother you too much, it's a fantastic hotel and seems to be run very efficiently. We all enjoyed our stay and this was mainly due to the beautiful grounds, fantastic weather and the staff who work so hard all day and night.
