We had amazing 11-nights at the Tui Magic Life Kalawy at the end of August - it was our second time coming to Egypt, first time at a Magic Life, and first time coming with our 5-year old. Activities We were sold the idea of a Magic Life hotel because of the sheer amount of things you can do. This is absolutely true, and credit to the entertainment team for keeping everything they do fun, engaging & not pressured. Through the app, you can book places on your various activities, but even when we went at the end of the summer holidays, you could just turn up to most of them. Highlights for us include snorkelling off the pier (accessing the most beautiful coral reef), the archery and the aqua spinning. On top of those, huge thanks to Hakim at the tennis house for teaching us how to play (beginner classes are included). He was super patient and his courses keep you coming back day after day. Mymo Kids Club Our son absolutely loved this kids' club – it was the highlight of his holiday! With so many different activities, he never wanted to leave. A special shout-out to Viktoria, whose endless energy was infectious, from breakfast through to dinner and the evening disco. She even had us wanting to join in with the kids' dances! The club had everything you could ask for, including crabbing on the beach, mini car rides, and face painting/nail painting. Having such a fantastic kids' club made our holiday too. It gave us the chance to relax, enjoy the resort, and know our son was having a blast instead of being stuck inside all day. Food Huge variety of food, all beautifully presented, chef stations everywhere - and the quality of the food was actually fantastic (and we’ve been to a lot of buffets). The Egyptian speciality restaurant was a highlight! Housekeeping Exceptional housekeeping every day, and our son loved the towel art (secretly, so did we!). Even though yes it’s a bit of a trek from the airport (an hour and fifteen or so), but the resort was stunning, the activities were brilliant, and we’d come back in a heartbeat.
