Woodlands Hall Hotel

Christmas get together group of adults with SEN. I was working as part of the support team. Not many Christmas decorations were up considering it was a Christmas do. Bar was cold and a damp smell, a few people remarked about it. The festive music playing was barely audible. The walls in the dining room may be recently painted and there were building materials in the car park. Yes, the car park: poorly lit and uneven surface. Place setting had a side plate and knife but no bread roll or starter was served. Vegetables were served in dishes to self serve. Potatoes were undercooked, but generous portion of turkey. Eton Mess cream was off and meringue tasted a bit stale: lots of people left it. Most left early, but that was probably planned anyway. Two of our party did not show up because they had been there a few days previously and were very disappointed so cancelled. It's a shame, this place used to be so popular, maybe it's due to being out of season, but I wouldn't go back in summer to find out.

We held a party for 50 friends and family at Woodlands on 21 September, the venue was perfect. The hotel has several lovely function rooms, and we had exclusive use of a large private bar area, perfect to mingle and chat, before going into the bright attractive dining room. The hotel had laid on a fantastic buffet, well presented, and delicious. The staff were attentive and helpful. Highly recommend this venue, which is versatile, beautiful, large outdoor terrace and plenty of parking. Thank you

We had a great time with family. I personally love the area having spent many weekends here as a child. The hotel is fantastically situated with easy access to Nefyn,Morfa Nefyn,Abersoch, Pwllheli, Aberdaron etc. The facilities are perfect for a family getaway,with comfortable rooms and spacious communal areas. There is WiFi, a bar,beautiful terrace and a dining area. We had a great time😊. The hosts were friendly and helpful and kept the place immaculately clean. I would recommend without hesitation 👍👍

Stayed for two nights in the deluxe room Room was clean modern and the staff couldnt do enough for us Breakfast came out hot and delicious The terrace outside was lovely to sit outside admiring the view in the evening's will defently be staying again soon

Soft play is good for a rainy day but the food was disappointing. Ordered off a menu that was at the counter only to realise when our food came that it was a different menu to the others, husband ordered the tuna and red onion sandwich but then got a tuna and sweetcorn sandwich which he wouldn’t of ordered as he doesn’t like sweetcorn.went back and the menu I ordered off had conveniently disappeared. I ordered the ham and mustard but ended up with ham and tomato. Stated came with crisps but ended up with just half a plate of salad which wasn’t very appetising. Mentioned this and was brought out around half a bag of crisps between the two of us. Children’s meals came out looking not very appetising. Overall for the cost I could have made myself a better sandwich back at my caravan.

I’ve never written a review however paying £12 for one diet coke and one Lime & Soda water was crazy. (We even confirmed at the bar that this tab was for two soft drinks) We planned to eat here but the place is pretty terrible. A number of things were off but if you read the majority of 1 & 2 star reviews, it outlines it all.
