I had a single room. Probably the room with the least favorable layout. :-(
It was already a problem to enter the room, because the door has to swing past the closet before there is room to enter.
The hotel has carpeted floors. I don't think this is hygienic anyway. There were several questionable stains in the carpet. I didn't like walking around the room barefoot.
The bedside table was behind the bed. The wall against which the bed stood had a ledge on which you could place something. Turning on the light at night was difficult, because the lamp is also behind the bed.
Other than that it was okay. Shower, toilet, desk and even a small 'terrace' with table/chair. There is a hairdryer and an extra pillow in the closet.
I thought the restaurant was very good.

Good comfy beds, good service and nice decoration and atmosphere in the restaurant and bar area. Around the hotel I thought it was very dark, like very little lights everywhere but I noticed that in the whole area there so maybe that’s because it’s in the forest and lights need to be dimmed.. I don’t know. I thought it was a bit eerie bc of that. It gave a bit of a cabin in the woods feel, also in the parking area between the trees, there is no asphalt at all so it’s a bit muddy and as if you’re literally staying in the forest. I can imagine that this would actually be extra nice for some people, outdoors feel.
The rooms are simple but sufficient, great matrasses and comfy beds. I would’ve liked some more luxury though and also more space in the room. For example a coffee machine and fridge and especially more space in the bathroom and a heater there, more water pressure in the shower. It was a brand new bathroom though which was nice. Overall the room was nice and clean and everything worked well, so it was sufficient.

We hadden voor een simpele kamer gekozen, aangezien we alleen maar kwamen om er te slapen. Toen we de kamer binnenstapten kwamen we daar echter snel van terug. De slaapplek van m'n hond is nog ruimer....dus hebben we alsnog voor een andere kamer gekozen. Op vrijdagavond na een avondje uit nog even borrelen aan de bar is er ook niet bij, want om 23:00 uur is alles dicht.

Amazing stay at Mooi Veluwe
Amazing stay at Mooi Veluwe, the hotel is undergoing a fairly major renovation. All rooms are being updated, new carpets throughout, new beds and bedroom furniture. Made the stay even more enjoyable. The restaurant has been updated with new carpets and furniture too.

Wij hebben een tournedos met pepersaus gegeten...was erg goed, mals en mooi rood. Mijn partner een wildmenu van 3 gerechten. Voor hoofd en nagerecht. Op de hertenbiefstuk na, die was matig mals, allemaal prima. Eigenlijk voor een middelmatig restaurant helemaal top. Prima prijs voor wat je kreeg.
