The Kasteel de Vanenburg, BW Premier Collection® is located in a peaceful, forest-rich area in the heart of the Netherlands (less than 45 minutes from Amsterdam), called De Veluwe, one of the most nature-rich areas in the Netherlands, near the village Putten. The castle is surrounded by beautiful old trees; historical lanes and watercourses determine the structure of the 55-hectare estate.
On the estate you can stay in a rustic setting. De Vanenburg has 52 hotel rooms which are all located on our property. The rooms are spread over four courtyards around the castle.
The restaurant is located in the main castle, where the chef and his team will prepare the most surprising culinary creations, often using products from the herbal garden at the property.

Een weekend hier mogen overnachten. Helaas hadden we de eerste nacht een bruiloft en waren de gasten allemaal rondom onze kamer ondergebracht. Dit gaf in de nacht wat onrust op het terras buiten. De brasserie was eerste avond volgeboekt, moesten in de stad eten. Kamer was mooi al is de badkamer wat oudbollig. Bed was super!!! Koelkast deed het niet en we misten een volle mini bar om wat op je kamer te drinken. Geen extra faciliteiten (wellness of sport) in of rondom hotel. Ontbijt was goed al was het door de bruiloftsgasten erg druk en rumoerig in het restaurant. Leuke detail waren de leen paraplu’s overal. Die nodig waren in regen en lopen naar de receptie en restaurant. De rust op de locatie nadat de bruiloftsgasten weg waren was heerlijk!!! Moet in de herfst en winter prachtig zijn.

Een prachtige locatie Vriendelijk personeel De kamers zijn erg netjes en schoon We hadden een comfort plus kamer die zich in een hofje bevond met een eigen terras, erg leuk. Fijne rituals producten op de kamer. Gegeten in de brasserie. Bediening erg vriendelijk Lekkere cocktails en wijnen. Voor de kwaliteit van het eten zijn de prijzen wel aan de hoge kant. Carpaccio lekker en smaakvol, biefstuk had beter gekund net te doorbakken, vis was goed. Bij alle gerechten dezelfde garnituren op het word Wel een heerlijk terras waar we lang van de zomeravond hebben kunnen genieten. Ontbijt goed, uitgebreide keuze. Kasteel vanenburg is een aanraden in Putten om te verblijven

Wat een prachtige rustige locatie! Alles was top. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen een comfort plus kamer in een van de hofjes die verspreid liggen over het grote domein. De kamer was niet groot maar wel heel compleet en kraaknet. Heerlijk kingsize bed, goede douche, een Nespresso machine, .. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met alles wat je maar kan wensen. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding uitstekend. Wij komen zeker terug.

Lovely, tranquil hotel in bucolic area. The rooms are in split bungalows off towards the outside of the property. Modern rooms are on the tight side- had a suite with fireplace, and a bathtub in the room. The beds were comfortable but pillows over stuffed and hard so had to use my travel pillow. The bathrooms were single sink with a large shower and modern toilet with built in fan. Everything in the suite is at an odd angle but a good set up. The fireplace is a vapor and light model. Cute. The two tvs (one on each side of foreplace) were odd as the one not watching would turn on at random times. Due to rain, we were unable to use the outside seating area but it was nice, surrounded by low lying hedges. Walk ways boarder the rooms so not absolutely private but the hotel is quiet. There is ample parking and possible to park smaller camper if needed. The estate is lovely. There is a trail around the main house for viewing there lovely plantings and specimen trees. There area is full of biking paths and the nearby town of Putten is adorable and has an excellent bakery (be sure to look for the good one which is on a corner at end of shopping street- the other bakery is commercial stuff). Wat een mooie rustige plek. Kamer gelegen in een hofje rond het kasteel. Wij hadden een junior suite, ruime kamer met een zitje, koffiehoekje en twee ruime kledingkasten en ook nog een bad op de kamer. Badkamer met dubbele wastafel, regendouche en toilet. Eigen terras met zitje en veel privacy. Een prachtige parkachtige tuin, met hele oude bomen, die keurig onderhouden was. s’Morgens ontbijt in het souterrain, alles was aanwezig. Wij hebben niet gedineerd in het kasteel, maar in Brasserie De Hoeve, loopafstand enkele minuten! Het was heerlijk weer, dus lekker buiten gegeten in het zonnetje. Alles was naar wens, de bediening was ook heel vriendelijk, zoals al het personeel op het landgoed. Zeker nog eens voor herhaling vatbaar!

Met aantal studievrienden 1961 hier geboekt voor fietsdriedaagse. Prachtige locatie met heel mooi park en prima logement.Slaapkamer aan de kleine kant maar uitstekende bedden,correcte badkamer en kleine voorkamer waar men eea kwijt kan.Zeer vriendelijke service. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt en ook lekker diner s'avonds. Zeer mooie fietsomgeving alleen viel het weder wat tegen. Berging van eigen ebikes en oplaadmogelijkheden voor verbetering vatbaar.

Beautiful hotel with an interesting history. We stayed in a deluxe family room which gave us a little more space than usual in a hotel room. An outside seating area was also a bonus. The grounds are beautifully kept and worth exploring with a camera in hand. (I particularly enjoyed using the tree swing and I'm on the wrong side of 60!) Every member of staff we came across greeted us warmly and the breakfast ladies were a delight. There were weddings being held on both days we were there but there was no noise disturbance to other guests. Can't wait to return!

Beautiful location, rooms are on the estate, where the garden is beautifully maintained. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. The bathroom is a bit dated, but otherwise neat. Coffee and tea can be prepared in your room. Breakfast is tasty with freshly squeezed orange juice.
