Let's start with the fact that the male owner Malik is a very intrusive man. He will text you the whole day, not 1 text but many. Not letting you enjoy your time in the peninsula at all. Not arranging stuff like a scooter and giving us names who don't pick up and don't respond texts. The room (s) (2) we stayed in 2 because the one used as their profile (wooden outside) photo is actually a shed, the toilet/bathroom hasn't been cleaned in years with bugs and spiders hanging from the wall and ceiling. The walls look extremely dirty. The beds are too short even for my wife which is 1.65mtr. bugs every where and the wooden boards are gapping through. Pillows smelled dirty. The hotshower installation didn't work. No toilet paper and no bedsheets to cover your self and no curtains. At night without any form of communication they lock the gate around 9 / 10 o'clock . Because he (malik) is going to bed. Arranging a safari seemed like a good idea. But demanding us to pay upfront in the night for everything felt not right. The way he communicated was unpleasant. The safari he organised, started way too late. Later on we heard we should have started 2 hours earlier. Before sunrise. The tuktuk to the harbour wasn't incl which he told.... but overlooked in the storm of texts he send. Not overcommunicating but wanting to control everything. The next room was sleeping wise a bit better, but the bathroom , the toilet leaked feces as the pipe wasn't connected. The shower drain was pumping out, which ment more feces coming up in the showerfloor, disgusting. No toiletpaper no curtains walls dirty and bugs everywhere. He stormflood texted us during a day we left the fan on.... probably listening at our room or .... let's say you leave it on. Tell or confront your guest when they come back. But also why complain about this with multiple texts and leave every light on on the whole premises at every cabin when no-one is there. No guests. But complaining about this. He will respond to this review ofcourse as controlling as he is. We've been travelling for a long time. Always budget never expecting luxury or 3 stars or more. But all in all the 2 showers where the most disgusting we came across. His behaviour made everything worse. But rest assured there are many places to stay, skip this one. Also one day saying he doesn't put money on quotes from other later on he tells us he does. Which proves he is dishonest. And by the way providing a service should be charged. No problem with that but don't say one thing and after another thing. Also : no wifi didn't work It's strange to say the least that a week ago he had a similar review. Also pretty aggressive respons from him. But that is what he is. An unpleasant man. Also: check TripAdvisor very bad reviews which we saw later, accusing him from stealing, ripping of and that he is known as an dishonest person. The mother can really cook by the way And the boys and workers work hard.

We were at Malik's place for 3 days, his parents took the surfing course, we paid him the money and he took it and didn't give us the money back! He's a liar! And deserves money from everyone! All the people in Kaliptia know him to be a thief! Don't go there it's not worth it!
