We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was busy with corporate events so not very quiet but the highlight for us was the excellent kids club - Randima Rosa was fantastic at entertaining them and our children had a great time, whilst we found a quiet spot in the hotel to relax.

My first visit to Sri Lanka and now hopefully not my last. Club Hotel Dolphin is quite a large hotel with one very large pool and a smaller 'Quieter' pool. The hotel has 4 restaurants, I believe. The main one being a kind of large buffet affair with many varied and tasty dishes. They also do several theme nights featuring cuisine from various countries. I went 'All Inclusive' which I personally recommend unless you plan to go on tours each day as the hotel is a little way from most attractions. The two I went on were about a two-hour drive from the hotel, which requires an early start. However, the hotel provides a great packed breakfast if you let them know you are leaving early to go on a tour. 'Douglas' The TUI (Travel Agent) REP was brilliant and so helpful. Any question or complaint, and it was sorted straight away (Not that there were any real complaints to speak of) I.e. We wanted two room keys and not just the one issued us. He got us a second key almost immediately. We also needed a room with two separate beds as I was holidaying with a friend, but we were booked into a room with one large bed. Straight away, Douglas sorted the problem out, and I think we actually got a better room as we were now right by the beach with sea views. I can honestly say that this was the best holiday ever (despite the second week being mostly raining each day). However, I would avoid October, as I found out too late that October is Sri Lanka's wettest month 🙄 In closing, I would like to give special thanks to the following people at Club Dolphin Hotel who made my stay at the hotel so much more special: 'Randi Rathnayake' (Restaurant waitress) 'Always eager to help with a beautiful smile and bubbly personality' Thank you, Randi. 'Heshan' (Restaurant Waiter) 'A permanent smile and great sense of humour and again with an eagerness to help' I will not only miss Sri Lanka but also the above-mentioned.

We came to sri lanka for our first anniversary choosing the club hotel dolphin over anybody else purely over location ... and it hasn't disappointed.... you would never know this hotel is celebrating 40yrs next month it is modern very clean and spacious hotel as well as the rooms.The food on offer in the main restaurant is always lovely with different country themed meals on offer buffet style every night something for everybody's taste buds.... last night we went to the waves restaurant for something special and again they didn't disappoint.... the food was beautifully presented with fantastic service from Madusanga ... even met the chef who was very humble in our praise .... All the staff are friendly polite and courteous.... Thank you for a fantastic stay hope to see you again Yours Ken & Lisa xx

Bed is great and comfy. Food is good. Swimming pool is very big and it’s fun that there’s a volleyball net in the pool. Nice people and it’s just a great place to be. I recommend this place. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was very fun! a good stay for a place like this ＜3
