Hôtel très moyen , personnel et repas pareil ... seule la vue sur le lac est sympa ... Clim (enfin si on peux appeler ça une clim) dans les chambres trop bruyante. Franchement c pas le top. SVP mettez plus de papier toilette ... un rouleau de 20 feuilles ça suffit pas !!

Hôtel qui a tout ce qu'il faudrait pour être au top mais ... climatisation HS, personnel concentré par l'obtention de pourboires, accueil peu serviable. A l'inverse, excellement situé et vue magnifique sur le lac, resto OK et uniquement veg (comme tous les restos à Pushkar). Bref l'hôtel est à l'image de la ville: extraordinaire mais très touristique et concentré sur le pouvoir d'achats des touristes

The Location of Hotel is within narrow streets of Pushkar with no parking. The Rooms are average and they don't have split AC in any rooms so you have to bear the sound of window AC. The food preparation is very poor. Don't expect anything heritage as it's poorly done.
The staff is not well trained for hospitality services. The only plus point is the view of Pushkar Lake from the Hotel.

It’s not about the star ratio it’s more about where you focus is. Read below and decide We stayed here for a few nights and found the location to be outstanding. The hotel is right on the lake, just a short walk from the main bazaar, and in a safe area. It’s ideal for exploring on foot or by tuk-tuk. Service was another highlight — the staff were kind, welcoming, and quick to respond to any requests. We really appreciated their hospitality. The building itself is a villa with lovely original architecture and a lot of character. However, it’s important to know that the hotel has seen better days. While it still looks picturesque from the outside, the rooms and amenities are noticeably worn. Some aspects, like the outdated electrical setup, may be concerning for guests expecting modern safety standards. Housekeeping keeps the rooms clean, and the charm is still there — but this isn’t a modern or recently renovated property. If you value location and atmosphere over updated facilities, and are okay with a more rustic experience, this place may suit you.

This was not the most luxurious hotel we stayed in but gets 5 stars for charm, authenticity, location overlooking Lake and value for money. The decor in the small rooms and balconies was excellent. The dining room decor was strangely spartan by contrast. Think it was half way through a renovation. Proximity to lake and a ghat was excellent and we walked all way round lake.

+ Zentrale Lage am See mit tollem Blick + Moskitonetze an Fenstern und Tür + schnelle Reaktion bei Wünschen und Problemen - kleines Frühstücksbuffet - Safe nicht befestigt - nach Duschen Fußboden sehr nass Wir waren im März 2025 zwei Nächte lang als Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern zu Gast im Hotel Pushkar Palace. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral am See und bietet die Möglichkeit, vieles fußläufig zu erledigen. Das Gebäude ist historisch, daher sind Deckenhöhen und Materialien nicht neuester Standard. Uns hat das historische Ambiente aber gut gefallen. Die Ausstattung ist teilweise leider in die Jahre gekommen. Die Betten sind sauber, die Matratzen gut. Die Badewanne steht nicht ganz an der Wand, sodass nach einer Dusche der Boden im ganzen Bad nass ist. Der Duschkopf ist ca 175 cm hoch fest angebracht. Dass der Safe nicht befestigt ist, sondern einfach mitgenommen werden könnte, spricht nicht für Sicherheit. Auf Anfragen an der Rezeption oder den Hotelboys wurde sehr schnell reagiert. Die Zimmer sind sauber, die Hotelboys machen einen sehr guten Job. Die Sauberkeit der Tassen und des Bestecks im Restaurant könnte hingegen besser sein. Der Kaffee war dafür mit Abstand der beste, den wir bisher in einem indischen Hotel hatten! Ansonsten war die Auswahl am europäisch geprägten Frühstücksbuffet sehr dünn. Es gab nicht mal Wasser, ein Liter Mineralwasser kostete 90 Rupien. Anfangs erlebten wir das Personal sehr zurückhaltend, je länger wir da waren, umso offener und freundlicher waren sie. Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden und können das Hotel trotz Mängeln empfehlen.

It was a very negative experience in a ‘holy’ town. This hotel is best described as a dump. Unsafe, ghastly food, the staff only want tips and do nothing for you. We were told to go down the stores and buy our own water. Creepy management and scary electrics. Will never stay here again or visit this godforsaken hole.

As a group we stay for 2 nights and unfortunately we were very disappointed. We had stayed previously prior to COVID and the standard of the hotel, its facilities, food, staff and service has dropped dramatically. It is such a shame given the excellent location on the lake and access to shopping streets. Requests for assistance were met with unhelpful staff and we were made to feel bad for asking for things. Unless upgrades/improvements are made, we could not recommend a stay here… unless you are prepared for a sub 3 star experience.
