Meotel Purwokerto

Our family stayed 1 night at this hotel during our 3 day visit to Baturraden and Purwokerto. This hotel is a value for money choice because for around 650k we can get a spacious executive room equipped with a sofa bed plus we were given a delicious cake as a complimentary gift from the hotel. There is a lot of parking at this hotel, the hotel and room lobby have a unique retro theme. At check-in we were served a welcome drink in the form of lemon tea which can be obtained self service. The executive rooms are very spacious with complete facilities like 3-4 star hotels. There are 4 complimentary 500ml bottles of mineral water with free wifi and strong hot shower water. This hotel provides free swimming pool facilities for both adults and children and a gym with limited equipment. For breakfast, there is enough variety with flavors that we think are delicious. There are no issues for restaurants. Let us provide several suggestions for improvements to make Meotel even brighter 1. We feel that there are very few greetings from employees. We hope that we will be greeted loudly with a smile like hotels in general. 2. The physicality of the hotel building, faccade and interior, including corridors and rooms, as well as the kids club and gym seem to really need restoration so that it looks shiny and doesn't look old with time. 3. Cleanliness in all areas including rooms needs to be considered. For example, the chair in the lobby which is in the shape of a telephone box, has quite a strong musty smell. Another thing is that in the elevator, the floor is muddy all day long. 4. The right elevator needs repair because the door opens and closes unreasonably slowly. However, we recommend this hotel for its affordability and value for money.
