Avoid at all costs This hotel is not what it claims to be and is at best a Yatri Niwas for the numerous Yatris that throng Puri. I had made a reservation about 10 days ago paying all costs for 2 days of stay. I had a official conference in Puri ending around the same time. My brother was supposed to join me from my home town of Cuttack. I went in the morning to complete the check in Since I am an Odia staying in Delhi, U started conversing in Odia. Don't know whether this was a let down, coz I checked in and left to my conference hotel to complete the same. My brother checked in at 11 am. I completed my conference and came back to the hotel to the room now allotted to my brother. The room was shaby , half done and looked like the one which they give to drivers accompanying family on trip for night stay. The intercom was not working. We were given unsealed ordinary water. This got my goat and I called the reception from my mobile. After giving them an earful on the shabby room and services, one of the team leader appeared at our door step. After I told him that I will not stay unless there is a change in my room, he managed to give me a decent room. Pathetic service, bad infrastructure and the inability to treat guests with a service attitude is what charaterises this hotel while charging premium tariff . What was supposed to be a good memories for us brothers catching up after 2 and half years turned out to be a sour memory. Avoid at all costs!

Unhelpful staff- dirty linen- dirt everywhere

My overall experience staying at Blue Lily Beach Resort, Puri, was extremely disappointing. Despite being advertised as a 3-star property and marketed as a 4-star facility, it is, in reality, more of a 2-star accommodation. The resort is essentially a converted 10+ years old studio apartment complex with 200 units. Upon my arrival at the hotel, I was shocked to find the bedsheets in a deplorable state; they were visibly dirty and clearly used. The situation was so dire that I couldn't even sit on the bed. It took the hotel staff two hours to provide fresh bedsheets, and during this time, I had to assist the housekeeping staff myself as they were short-staffed. Even after this follow-up, the hotel could only manage to change the bedsheets and pillow covers. Regrettably, the second pair of washed cushions promised by the hotel was never provided. The pictures on travel sites is totally apposite of the actual condition of the so called Resort. Here's my rating based on my experience: Food - 4/5 Crockery - 2/5 Cleanliness - 1.5/5 Availability of Housekeeping Staff - 2/5 Managerial Service - 0.5/5 Rooms and Bathrooms - Rooms are spacious but toilet and bathing area was just 2*2ft. We went to Blue Lily for Durga Puja holidays. We were 2 families. So a total of 5 people. We had booked 2 rooms over a month ago. Here is what we liked about them. Their food was consistently good other than the breakfast. I think since breakfast was a buffet, it was usually cold and stale but if you ordered from the menu, it was always great. The number of water bottles they gave was amazing. It really helped us a lot. Their overall service also was very good. They were always willing to discuss various options. What I didnt like - their room was overpriced for the quality given. Granted it was high season so I will not deduct too many points here. Out of two rooms, one room had lighting issues. The good thing was that they were willing to accommodate to another room but my friend was willing to accommodate in the existing room. Proximity of both families was important to him. Even though I had booked the room a month in advance, there was no notification that the pool was not working. They claimed that they had informed MakeMyTrip but the voucher had no such notifications. I had even informed my travel agent and he also confirmed that the hotel had not informed earlier. The only reason I did not escalate too much was because, they adjusted with the extra person rates for my niece, I was busy during most of the day with other activities and they did open the swimming pool on our last day. So, overall a good experience and like I said earlier, their service was excellent. I would recommend this to families as the location is also ideal. It is about 200 meters from the beach and it is easy to locate on Google Maps. Swargdwar is also not far off from here.

I stayed for 3 nights at Blue lily resort with our Group, it was one of the best experience during my tour,starting from Hassle free check ins till check out ,staffs were cooperative and especially food quality was best one.over all a memorable experience, surely will recommend.

We had stayed at Blue lily for 2 nights, experience was good, it's a beautiful hotel with a huge lawn and pool side. Rooms are ok, need little maintenance,found damp inside washroom 2127, but service wise ,staffs are very good , Breakfast was awesome with south indian dishes. Thanks to the entire team of the Hotel.
