Executive Inn of Purcell

This stay was our port in a horrible storm. We hadn't planned on this overnight as part of our trip but decided not to keep driving in such awful weather. Parking lot was not flooded, despite the torrential downpour. We checked in about ten minutes after booking. Process was easy, staff was friendly. Room was clean, comfortable, and dry.

At first they had no record of my reservation. And finally they did.

Meh...could be better The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The room had a very unpleasant odor to it. I had to go to walmart and get some air fresheners. I am not sure if there was something wrong that made it smell or if it was due to cultural differences as the office had a very pugnent odor as well (garlicnor maybe curry?). The bed was basically no diffeent than sleeping on a piece of plywood. I sell mattresses for a living and that was not a mattress. I stayed for 2 nights and they did clean the room and brought fresh towels and made the bed. That was a pleasant surprise as most places don't do that anymore. Basically, it was a cheap place to sleep. You get what you pay for.

Excellent location and so nice just pulling up to the door and being able to unload. Basic room but for the cost you can’t complain. Very friendly staff. Clean room with comfortable chair. Microwave and brand new fridge. Zero amenities but again the reasonable cost. My issue was only two towels and no blow dryer.

We were looking for night at a basic clean motel at a reasonable price and that is exactly what we got. Located just off the Interstate across from the Walmart it was easy to find with a good amount of parking. The check in was smoothly handled by a attentive and pleasant night desk clerk. The room looked and smelled clean when we walked in and looks as if it had been very recently renovated. Everything worked as it should and the beds were comfortable with the sheets/blankets clean and fresh. It was quiet even considering the busy street the motel sits on. Overall I would recommend the Executive Inn of Purcell if a decently priced, clean and quiet overnight is what you are after.
